Kyra POV:
"BECAUSE I AM NOT FROM THIS WORLD," I said, tears streaming down my face.
"Wait, what? Say that again, I must be hearing things," Lucas said, disbelief evident in his voice.
"I said it right," I hiccuped. "The day you found me, I was accidentally transported to this world..."
"Oh, my goodness!" he exclaimed.
"Lucas, it's not that I don't like you... It's just that I'm scared. This world is unfamiliar to me, and I don't know if I can trust anyone. You've been kind to me, and I don't want to lie to you because I want to find a way back to my world," I spoke as I held his hands, my voice trembling.
He took a deep breath, trying to process the news. "I need some time to digest this," he said "I've always been there to help you with anything you needed, but finding your way back is not as simple as finding a tribe or city. It's a different world altogether, and you can't just ask for directions.
I understand it must be hard, but if there's any way I can help you, I will.
However, if you can't go back, you have to make the right decision at the right time. In this case, I can't be of much help..." I looked up at him, and he seemed earnest and serious, quite different from his usual cheerful and sweet self.
"So, did you really propose to a whole group of females?" I joked, chuckling to lighten the mood
"Nah! Kyra, don't even go there. You know I only have eyes for a certain redhead," he said, winking at me.
"You seem to be quite skilled at flirting, Mr. Wolf. Tell me the truth..." I spoke, feeling more comfortable and open now.
"Should I blame you then?" he leaned closer, and I shifted back in my chair. With his left hand, he gently held my waist, while his right hand played with a strand of my hair, rolling it around his fingers. He chuckled, saying, "Ever since I met you, my flirting skills have just come naturally..."
I stiffened, feeling the heat rise to my cheeks. "Mr. Wolf, I think you need to control your hormones," I said, blushing.
"No, I can't," he replied, tucking the strand of hair behind my ear. "...Because I've already lost my kidney..."
"At such a young age?" I exclaimed in shock.
"Nope... I lost my heart and kidney to you....Only you have control over them," he said, stepping back and chuckling.
Leaving me a blushing mess.
I glanced at his animal skin skirt, and I could clearly see a huge bulge...
"Your world seems well-developing. Why don't you guys have proper clothes?" I asked, observing him dressed in a primitive way with the cloth wrapped around his waist and shoulder.
"Because it's easier to shift into a beast form, and.... it makes mating easier too," Lucas winked at me, smirking mischievously.
Oh my goodness! This wolf was really something... I hid my face with my palm, feeling a mix of embarrassment and amusement as I heard his cheerful laughter.
