Ray furrowed his brows, realizing he had no clue where the main building was located.
Glancing around, his eyes landed on a girl sitting beside him. She had short brown hair, silky pearl skin, and was wearing eyeglasses that framed her beautiful yet cold-looking eyes.
Summoning his courage, Ray turned towards the girl and mustered a polite smile. "Excuse me."
"I just received a notification about the Aether Affinity Test, and I'm supposed to go to my designated homeroom. Do you happen to know where the main building is?"
The girl's gaze shifted towards Ray, and for a brief moment, their eyes met. Time seemed to stand still as he anxiously waited for her response. After a few seconds, she finally spoke, her voice cool and composed. "You can check it on the map on your smartwatch," she replied curtly before standing up from her seat and walking away.
