Their doubt were not totally unexplainable. Even the man felt like the group who had returned with the news might had exaggerated the information to make themselves look pitiable enough but the evidences weren't easy to ignore like the testaments.
The disbelief of the troupe lasted for just a few seconds before everyone was back to thinking of what was important. The narration might be hard to believe but when on really thought about it, their world was no less a fantasy world now, so saying the creature was plugged out of a fantasy was just perfect. After pondering on the possible incredulity in this description for a few minutes, they quickly moved on to the more pressing issue at hand.
