Chapter 157 - fate

As time slowly passed throughout that day, the tension that filled these fighters heart slowly increased. They might have matched out of that room with confidence that the two days grace to think would be enough to count their losses and multiply their courage, but with every passing second, what little was left of their courage continued to drown out like water let loose from a hose.

Human had the tendency to regret a decision before they take it if giving a larger time to ponder upon it. The ability of the man's mind to create scenarios and unearth possible anomalies that could happen from a single action was always top notch. Fueled by fear, hesitance and reluctant, the mind could make up a million negative thoughts that discourages the very vessel from ding what they would initially do if the time to think was lesser than the time the brain needed to analyze completely the level of disadvantage.
