"Do you still have that man?" She asked but with no response except reluctant and cringed looks. Her stare turned cold. "Did you kill him?"
"He escaped." Leon admitted.
"We kept him in a glass bottle after shrinking him. We interrogated him for hours and we even prepared to keep him there forever." Rufus said.
They're just kids. she reminded herself. He must be desperate all right. He would've starved to death if he didn't try to escape.
"I'm guessing that he tricked you into going into the labyrinth without a plan."
"I guess so. We could've died. That thing was terrifying. Why would it be kept here on school grounds?" Leon comments gruffly.
Amy frowned at him coldly. "He must have been trying to get you killed without actually physically attacking you. He's taking advantage of your curiosity."
"That's what I thought." Leon says with a beaming smile.
Seriously, how is he so nonchalant about this?
"This dagger was probably what got through the defenses in the first place." She murmured before looking at the pair. "I am keeping what happened that night a secret but I swear to god if you idiots try something stupid again without even notifying me then I will report this to her Majesty."
Leon and Rufus are stunned at her words thinking they heard wrong.
"I'm sorry? Notifying you?"
Amy groaned. "Look, I can't stop you if you want to cause mayhem or have adventures but if you do it, at least I want to know that you guys are safe. You guys may be students but you are also the Prince of Solin and the Future Marquis of Valerian respectively." She pats her sore stomach. "Don't throw your life like that anymore." she says softly.
For once, Leon looks like he is actually listening.
"I want to rest now. End of conversation."
"Alright, we'll come visit later." Rufus said and he was forced to drag Leon out before he could ask more questions.
Amy could still hear the two until they finally left the building. She massaged her stomach with a worried expression. Thankfully there is no permanently damage but it was still a close call. Everyone thinks she did some crazy experiments that she tested on herself and got heavily lectured for it.
Amy looked out the window to think as she decided to write something in a spare notebook.

"Let's go to Ryllis's room" Leon said suddenly after being out of plain sight.
Rufus gave him an icy stare in response. "What are you planning?"
"I bet she keeps a bunch of stuff in there. Vivi did say that she has a way for making weird things."
"It's an invasion of privacy!" hissed Rufus.
Leon scoffed in response. "As much as I hate to admit it, she rescued us out of a situation we couldn't escape from, without telling anyone. She did it all by herself. If that doesn't get you wondering, I don't know what will."

Amy was stuck with a strict diet for a week but still kept in the infirmary for a month. She isn't even allowed to attend classes in person but can still participate remotely through a one way display where she can see and hear them. She spends most of her time in the room studying, resting, recovering.
But there is one interesting change. Since her hospitalization, she gets visitors from other students who like to ask her for homework advice from nobles like Vanessa Aquilla and other teams. According to her close friends, she is reputed to be the most intelligent among the first years as she placed first on midterms but she is beginning to sense that there is more to it than that.
One of the kids who visited her is actually a fourth year and in addition to helping him with his literature essay, he asked for more "homework advice" with a wink wink nudge nudge kind of gesture. At first she suspected he is gonna say something inappropriate and had him kicked out of the infirmary but it didn't stop there.
Another time, she helped a third year with supplementary lessons on her ancient languages test because she has trouble understanding Jophiel runes but hinted that she is missing something but wouldn't say it explicitly. In the end, she got impatient and left.
More and more kids start to ask for lessons but hint about wanting something else. She isn't dense to figure out that there is an ulterior motive behind these lessons but as for what they want, that is where she is stuck on and she is extremely impatient with each visitor who isn't a familiar face.

"You get it now?"
The girl nodded. She has thick black curly hair and tanned skin. She is one of Viola's friends name Vanessa Aquila; a noble lady from one of the southern provinces in the kingdom. Viola asked her to help tutor Vanessa for make up exams and she agreed.
"I have a question?" Amy asked.
Vanessa looked up.
"I had other kids who wanted me to tutor them but they hint on wanting something else instead."
The sweet girl has expressions like an open book and thought for a moment before she expressed a look of realization.
"Ah, it must be about that rumor."
Amy has a bad feeling about this. "What rumor?"

Leon and Rufus were in the potions room brewing up something in the room while reading through the notebook.
"I can't believe that Ryllis kept this all a secret." Leon muttered. "This surpasses even the fifth years."
"You know that we shouldn't be keeping this up any longer. Sooner or later, Amaryllis is gonna find out." Rufus says with a nervous smile.
"Are you kidding me? We got a whole thing going although..." Leon looked at another book, "I am curious about this one." The book cover is made up of hardened blue material which even covers up the text block. It is heavily locked and cannot be opened through any means whether it is magic or power. Whatever this one is, the contents certainly must be important.
"What did she do to it?"
"Secrets are meant to be kept secret. Besides, are you seriously repaying her for saving our lives by stealing her potion recipes?" Rufus says suspiciously.
"Oh shut up! Keep stirring."
Rufus turned and muttered something unpleasant under his breath.
"We need to be prepared." Leon says darkly.
Rufus has a serious look on his face. "If you intend to break your promise, Amaryllis will do more than just report you. You are already making an enemy out of her and I am not talking about her skills."
Leon has a dark arrogant look on his face. "She is my subject, Rufus. I am the prince of the land she is born in. She has no right to object. She can try to report me to the palace but I don't think she would try to make an enemy out of me."
Rufus has a disapproving look on his face as he stared at his friend. "In case you have forgotten, Melissa and I are also sworn to report if you are in danger. We're doing our duty as your subjects. Are you seriously asking us to turn a blind eye to what just happened?"
Leon returned the gaze. "I want revenge, Rufus. That bastard is still out there and unless we get him then we won't know his intentions."
