Zane, Astelia, and Lumina get a mission from the job bureau, to investigate a dragon's den. Lumina yawns, dreading the journey.
"I don't wanna go," Lumina whines. "Don't we stay here for free?"
Astelia slaps Lumina on the back of her head. Zane sighs at Lumina's stupidity.
"Deserved," Zane snickers. "You think we would live here for free? Get real."
They load up their backpacks with necessities and head out to an adventure. As they walk through a pathway, they take in the fresh air of the countryside. Cows much on grass, wheat rustles in place as harvest season is close. Farmers wave at the trio, thankful their lives can improve after this quest.
"Welp, we're almost there you guys," Lumina cheers. "Finally we can get some money in our pockets."
Astelia looks at the den suspiciously. Her eye glows light blue as she uses her skill, Scan, to see if this quest is a trap. It falters, causing Astelia to scream in pain. She holds her eye while looking straight ahead. Lumina kneels to heal Asteia's eye, unaware of a fireball that was shot from the direction of the den.
As the fire tracks in their direction, it alerts Zane. He dashes to their location, shielding the two ladies from the fire. He yells as the shield he brought starts to crack and shatter.
The fireball strikes Zane, sending him flying through a tree. He gets up and limps to Lumina's location. He jumps to their location, narrowly dodging the attack. The pathway burnt to a crisp as the dragon's den stood before them. Green eyes blind the trio, taunting them to enter its domain.
"Nope," Zane laughs. "I'm out of this bitch."
Zane tries to run but Astelia grabs him by his arm and throws him in. She walks in with the signal of his screams.
"Come on Lumina," Astelia sighs. "Let's go save the coward."
Lumina laughs as they walk into the dragon's den. She puts her hands on her head as the sun's rays dim around them. They groan as they hear Zane's screams go further away. Their speed walking turns into sprinting as they maul through any monster in their path.
In the dragon's lair, the green dragon seems to be very friendly to Zane. It continues to nuzzle itself on him. The eggs surrounding the dragon let Zane know it's a female. She closes her eyes and puts her nose to his forehead. Waves shoot to Zane's nerves, making him yell in pain.
"Human, can you understand me now?" the dragon asks. "Apologies for putting you in pain, you're just intriguing to me."
"Intriguing my left nutsack!" Zane winces. "The hell was that? You almost gave me ten extra reasons to go to the hospital!"
The dragon laughs, not seeming to care about Zane's concern. One of their eggs hatch, revealing a green dragon with light blue eyes. The baby dragon crawls up to him and nuzzles on his torso.
"Aw," she chuckles. "He likes you already!"
Zane looks at the baby dragon and pets it. It sits down on his lap and falls asleep. The mother dragon smiles but is alerted. Lumina and Astelia kick down the door, ready to kill the dragon but they see the baby dragon. In a swing, their mood changes, cuddling the baby dragon.
"It's so cute!" Lumina shouts in excitement. "Zane, where'd you get this thing from?"
Astelia bonks Lumina on the head, disappointed at her stupidity. Lumina grinned at her before looking at the dragon.
"Oh hello there," Lumina greets herself shyly. "I didn't see you there."
"Can you hit her again?" the dragon asks Astelia. "She's clearly either blind or stupid."
"Oh gladly," Astelia sighs, cracking her knuckles.
Lumina slowly slides away from Astelia, looking to Zane for help. He shrugs, knowing she did it to herself. The rocks surrounding the dungeon rumble. The dragon quickly gets up and roars. Outside, an army chants, marching to the dragon's den. A lieutenant stands before the entrance and shouts, instantly getting his soldiers in formation.
"Men, women, and beast folk," the lieutenant scolds. "Today is the day that we raid the den and put a stop to this threat forever!"
The soldiers cheer as the lieutenant signals for them to rush in. The soldiers seemingly get picked off one by one. Goblins respawn and tear a female soldier's armor off with their bare hands. They snicker as they drag the traumatized woman to an area of the den.
"Follow me, brave soldiers," the dragon says in the den. "I'll show you how to effortlessly keep people away from the den."
The dragon transforms into a busty draconian woman and starts slashing away at the soldiers. She laughs manically as her bloodlust gets filled quickly. Her feet float off of the ground when she exits the dungeon. The lieutenant looks up and sees meteors being manifested in front of him. His sword drops, accepting his death as meteors fall in front of them.
Many soldiers have been overwhelmed by goblins. The wolves are eating the arms and legs of people they have killed. She drags the body of the lieutenant to her den as more eggs start to hatch.
"Eat my children," the dragon proclaims. "When more cocky soldiers come to raid, we shall feast on them too!"
The dragon picks up his walkie-talkie and clears her throat. She laughs as the Heroes Association picks up the signal. They expect good news but are surprised when screaming fills the audio of the walkie-talkie. The Hero of Emotion trembles as she hears the chaos happening at the dragon's den. The receptionists faint and cry uncontrollably, their husbands and wives were a part of the army.
The Hero of Peace looks at the walkie-talkie with disappointment, throwing it on the floor.
The Heroes Faction picks up the walkie-talkie to hear what the dragon has to say.
"Listen up residents of Seifuku," the dragon shouts. "Your army is dead! If you want to give me a challenge next time, bring more suitable opponents!"
