Chapter 14 - 14. The Doctor and a New Threat

In the medical wing of the academy, a recovering Victor is left speechless at the appearance of the doctor. Long slender legs with stockings, knee-high skirt, long sleeve button top, elegant curves, waist-long brown hair tied in a ponytail, striking grayish eye's and thin brim glasses.

"What happened to me doctor how did I get here?"

"Two of the monitors were on patrol when you suddenly appeared out of nowhere. The body was so broken and deformed that identity was almost impossible. When they noticed your first year jacket, it made them call for me. When I arrived, I wasn't sure that what I was looking at was a student. Your blazer made it possible to identify you and bring you to the medical wing."

"How were you able to repair my body if it was unrecognizable?"

She moves her hand and reveals a heptagon.

"I'm a seventh tier healer, I could fix your body even if your head was taken. But your wounds were much more severe, requiring continued magic flow to repair your shattered bones. Just what the hell happened to you?"

"I can't remember anything except getting lost while looking for the dorm, then waking up here."

"Well, your recovery is going well. You should be out by next week. In the meantime, I'd like to find out more about you."

Victor explains a bit of his life story with her but is careful with his words. They engage in conversation until he falls asleep. In the kingdom of Dragolia, a certain figure still overcome with resentment towards Victor is spending time in his room thinking of ways to exact his revenge. He explodes with rage, throwing his chair against the wall, breaking it.

"Master George, is everything alright?"

"Shut up! I don't need a lowly servant to check on me. Leave me alone!!"

Breathing heavily, he hears the door creek open and turns around to attack, only to see a figure covered in shadow giving off a sinister feel.

"Do not fear mortal. I have not come to harm you. I come with a proposition for you regarding the one named Victor."

"Speak, and I will decide."

"I am an assassin of a very powerful deity, and he has deemed you worthy to be given a power that will help you defeat Victor. We also have an idea of where he's hiding, but he's disappeared."

"WHERE IS HE!!!"

"We believe he is hiding in the kingdom of Fryden under an alias, but we are unsure. So we need someone to draw him out of hiding, someone with your resentment towards him."

"What would I need to do?"

"I will bestow you a power that has the ability to kill any mortal that stands in your way."

"Do it now!"

The assassin stretches out his hand, and dark, sinister power flows into young George, causing him to scream in agony.

"Now travel to Fryden and kill Victor Bloodgrave. That is your condition for receiving this power."

The assassin vanishes, leaving George to fulfill his side of the deal.

"Master George, are you alright?"

The butler opens the door and sees a changed George before him, causing him to freeze in place. George walks up to him and places one hand on his shoulder.

"Dispergat."

The butler's body explodes, sending blood, guts, and pieces spraying over all the walls. With this newly received power, George starts laughing maniacally.

"Get ready, Victor Bloodgrave, for I George will bring about your death."

The following week, Victor is released from the medical wing, feeling his normal self again he falls back into the flow of academy life. But he has become a talking point of the school after how they found him. A few students approach him cautiously wanting to talk but are chased away by the look in his eyes and decide to leave him alone.

The next  is spreading about a mysterious string of murders that took place the following night. The bodies had been splattered all over the place, and identity was almost impossible. Reading this, Victor can't suppress an uneasy feeling growing inside him that it's got something to do with him.

After a long day of school, Victor decides to take a stroll outside the academy building to try to shake off the uneasy feeling plaguing him. He hears the cries and screams of students and quickly runs towards the commotion only to see their bodies exploding, spraying the grass with blood and guts. Victor looks up, and the uneasy feeling he's had sinks to his stomach as he lays eyes on a blood crazed George.

"WHERE IS VICTOR BLOODGRAVE?!!!!!!"

Teacher's step in to try and stop him, but he kills them with ease. The others get the students into the academy and hide in the main hall. The teachers and students see him standing there. They try to get his attention, but he takes no notice of the other's. A teacher tries to take Victor away, but he doesn't move. A dark expression takes over his face.

"Get to the academy if you know what's good for."

He clenches his fists and starts shaking with anger, making the teacher run back to the academy. George looks around confused, and his eyes land on the only other person there.

"Well, well, well, if it isn't the great Victor Bloodgrave. It's time for you to die for making a mockery of my family name, and now, with this amazing power, I can finally kill you slowly."

Victor remains silent, steadying his voice before replying.

"Well done, George, you've awakened a sleeping resentment and really pissed me off. I will show you no mercy."

George prepares his attack while Victor powers up his magic and draws his sword ready to annihilate George. The two face off in a battle of vengeance and determination while the academy teachers and students look on through the window.
