Chapter 20 - Camp

Sauron's attack was swift and relentless. The cruciform sword's offensive was fierce, continuously striking at Bull Knight Gra. With a wounded chest, Bull Knight Gra's reaction slowed after several rounds of attacks.

Under the relentless assault, a hint of panic appeared in Bull Knight Gra's eyes.

"Wait!"

Just as Sauron prepared for another strike, Bull Knight Gra's complexion changed, screaming, "I am a Crusader. Dare you kill me..."

Before he could finish his sentence, the cruciform sword had pierced through his throat.

Bull Knight Gra's face turned instantly pale. As Sauron withdrew the cruciform sword, he desperately covered his throat, but blood continued to flow through the gaps between his fingers.

"Ugh..."

Bull Knight Gra fell to the ground, the light fading from his eyes.

Sauron remained calm. Though Bull Knight Gra had formidable strength, he was far from Goliath's level. With Sauron's current sword technique, killing him was not difficult.

With Bull Knight Gra's death, the surrounding bandits fell into chaos. In their eyes, their invincible leader had died at the hands of a young man.

"Kill them!"

Seeing Bull Knight Gra fall, Ron's eyes gleamed with excitement. He immediately ordered his guards to massacre the bandits.

"The boss is dead!"

"Run!"

"Quick, escape!"

With Bull Knight Gra gone, the bandits scattered in disarray, fleeing in all directions.

At this moment, Sauron calmly raised his bow and, shooting with great precision, began targeting the fleeing bandits. His arrow technique was like that of the Grim Reaper, harvesting lives.

In the blink of an eye, more than a dozen bandits fell under Sauron's arrows.

"Wait, spare some alive!"

At this point, Ron suddenly remembered that his father had not returned. He quickly instructed Sauron to leave some alive.

Sauron nodded slightly. An arrow pierced through the leg of one bandit who fell to the ground, screaming, only to be restrained by the bodyguards afterward.

The battle lasted just over ten minutes.

With Bull Knight Gra's death, the situation became one-sided. Ron's side suffered almost no casualties, wiping out the entire group of bandits.

"Amazing sword technique!"

Watching Bull Knight Gra's corpse, Murl felt a tremor in his heart. It was hard to imagine how Sauron, at such a young age, possessed such terrifying strength.

"Is this the strength of a Holy Splendor Academy Knight?"

Murl's eyes revealed a complex expression. The confrontation with Bull Knight Gra made him deeply aware of the opponent's terrifying strength. If they were to engage in a real battle, Murl would be no match for Bull Knight Gra.

Under Sauron's command, Bull Knight Gra couldn't even last long, despite his incredible strength. He couldn't even touch Sauron's fingertips.

"Speak! Where's my father?"

Stepping on the chest of a bandit, Ron gnashed his teeth and said, "Don't even think about lying. If my father is dead because of you, I'll make you regret living in this world."

"No... no."

The bandit hastily shook his head, trembling, "The people we caught earlier are all locked in the water dungeon. I can take you there now!"

Relieved to hear that his father was still alive, Ron immediately grabbed the bandit and ordered him to lead the way.

Following the bandit's footsteps, they quickly arrived deep in the forest, where a camp, the headquarters of Bull Knight Gra, emerged.

At this time, there were only a dozen bandits left in the camp.

Not seeing Bull Knight Gra return, the bandits fell into chaos. The archers on the watchtower in front of the camp immediately shot arrows.

However, compared to Sauron's arrow technique, these bandits were like disabled individuals.

Swish! Swish!

Sauron bent his bow and shot two arrows, easily dealing with the bandits on the watchtower. Then, he charged into the camp ahead of everyone, joining forces with Murl to kill all the resisting bandits.

"Father!"

Soon, Ron found the camp's water dungeon, where Arnold was imprisoned. He was in critical condition, his face pale.

Everyone quickly rescued him.

"Cough, cough!"

After being rescued, Arnold, with a bitter smile, said, "If you had come a bit later, I'm afraid my old bones would have been left here."

Ron also felt a sense of relief.

He then helped Arnold up, planning to leave this place as soon as possible.

"Wait!"

At this moment, Arnold, struggling, raised his hand, pointing to a distant warehouse. "The caravan's goods are still inside. Quickly check if there's any damage."

"Father, it's already this late."

Ron was speechless. He said, "Even if this batch of goods is precious, is it worth more than your life? After all that happened, you're still concerned about this!"

"What do you understand?"

Arnold's eyes flashed with complexity. He whispered, "This batch of goods is crucial to our family. If it weren't for that, why would I personally go to the southern border?"

"Alright, stop talking."

"Hurry and have someone open the warehouse, check the goods, and then leave this cursed place."

Seeing Arnold persisting, Ron could only comply. He ordered his bodyguards to open the warehouse, and after confirming that the goods were intact, they were carried out.

"Fortunately, it wasn't in vain."

Learning that the goods were safe, Arnold relaxed. With Murl's support, he entered a carriage to rest.

At the same time, Sauron and the guards were searching through the camp.

The bandits' camp was not large, mainly consisting of wooden structures. Apart from the water dungeon where Arnold was kept, most of the buildings were similar to warehouses.

Sauron arrived in front of one wooden warehouse and heard some sounds from inside.

A sense of alertness rose in his heart. He then slashed open the lock of the warehouse with his sword. After the gate opened, he discovered that dozens of women were locked inside.

Sauron frowned slightly.

These women had obviously been captured by the bandits. They were naked, dirty, and each had an iron chain around their necks, resembling livestock. There were clear signs of violation, and some of them had become numb.

"What a group of damned animals!"

Ron also arrived outside the warehouse. Seeing these poor women, a hint of anger appeared on his face. He immediately ordered the guards to rescue the women.
