After the battle for Cardanic and the manipulations of Urak to scare away the soldiers of Rosebud, the riders first joined their city. However, the harsh truth took them by surprise. No families were waiting for them anymore, no siblings, no wives, and no children. The inhabitants only had fear for what they had done, trying to integrate them into the society as they could, they could not stop the whispers saying that they had lost their souls to the demon. They won, yes, but the way they won was debatable.
The city was deeply instructed in the church of Light for centuries, and hearing the stories of the riders scarring to death the soldiers invading their land led to many discussions. Many people even thought this was just a masquerade, that they never pretended to wear furs and antlers, but that they actually had some in their real forms.
