The fifth leader, Zuline, had followed him. If a race was considered to be the chosen one in this world, for sure, it would have been them. They were the only night creatures who had not been created by Zarkhaïm and they had been his first companions.
In the light world where Jäwell came from, they were described as the death's walkers, the ones coming to the battlefield after the battle to collect the souls and help the fallen ones in their journey to their rightful places. Jäwell grew up in his mortal life with legends about the jessadians.
The jessadians had this incredible power to create portals and pass from one world to another without effort but they also were the guardians of balance. If they were particularly loved by Zarkhaïm and close to him, they promised to remain outside of the conflicts. It was an old promise known by everyone, they cared for the souls that should not be suffering the superior beings' conflicts.
