Jäwell growled softly when he perceived a gentle caress on his head awakening him. Still in his dreams and feeling the cramps of the pain he had been through, he smiled and wrapped his arms around the person's body. When he caressed mechanically the feminine back of the person in his embrace, he remembered that he was alone in the castle and Teddy was guarding the entrance. Nobody should be here with him.
He opened his eyes immediately and rolled to the side to take his distance quickly since he was still lying on the floor after his hard moment with the shadows, ready to fend for himself.
Zuline appeared to be the person who came. She laughed after she saw his reaction, lightly mocking him.
