There was no telling if he was consoling her or himself. Cole silently stood as he watched through the window.
Meanwhile, in the room, Benedict had asked her to be seated.
"You have to calm down, I can feel you are breathing quite abnormally so you have got to be calm," Benedict said to her as he urged her to take in deep breaths.
"Okay, that's enough, you are stable, as of now," he whispered the last part of his statement to himself and of course, she didn't hear him.
"That's perfect, now close your eyes, think about four years ago, the day, month and year which you met with Cole," Benedict had a very soothing voice and in that manner, he was able to pull Kaia in.
"May 24th 2020, the year I met with Cole," she subconsciously muttered and Benedict let out a smile. They were making progress.
"Now think about the moments the both of you spent, recall every single detail," he added for additional assurance.
