She felt that the blood in her body had frozen. Was she going to be thrown out now?
"Are you going to throw me out?" She bit the bullet and asked the question. She felt that it was likely since she had been spewing rubbish. Even if she isn't thrown out, it was likely that she might not get the job at the end of the day.
Melvin turned to look at her as he sneered, "you now know to be scared, what happened to your yapping previously?"
Cathy gave him a goofy smile, "that was because I didn't know it was you previously, can you forgive me big boss?" She shamelessly asked while he rolled his eyes.
"Forget it, I'm not the big boss, I can take you to get new clothes and also drop you at HB but I can't guarantee your interview's success as I am not the one handling the interview," Melvin said to her.
"Thank you, the fact that you are willing to help despite my rude behavior earlier means a lot," she thanked him genuinely while he let out a snicker.
