"Shall we sign the marriage papers?" Preston asked as he watched the couple who were silent, each lost in their own thoughts.
"Sure," Cole answered and they both settled on the double-seater.
Preston pushed the contract papers towards the both of them as he handed the both of them pens.
"Alright, you can sign here," he showed the both of them the place they needed to sign.
Kaia looked at the contract paper which were presented to her and she heaved a deep breath. It was bound to happen anyways, so there was no need trying to deny fate.
She swiftly signed and Preston passed the papers to Cole who also signed it immediately.
"You both are now husband and wife, it was expected but still unexpected, my friend thought he had lost you forever," Preston could not help himself, therefore bringing up the events from the past.
