Rebekah POV
I didn't know how but Marbel's and I conversation got out somehow by one of Reagan's guard who was monitoring me secretly, or protecting me secretly like Reagan would like to say.
He didn't wait for my permission, he called literally the whole pack just outside my room door, asked them to kneel there and pray for me. He made sure every single one of them were chanting a prayer. But nothing happened. Two hours later, I knew that this whole facade wouldn't work.
Reagan entered my room with an exasperated sigh, obviously distasteful that none of their prayers were working for me.
"You need not be worried, Alpha." I said cautiously. His people were hearing me. If I so much as said the wrong word, they would have my head. It wasn't even an Olympic thinking, It was a fact. One thing I have come to learn about these people was that they took respect on a higher level.
"I will be well. I just need time," I said.
