Chapter 52

Narrator Pov:

"I am Stoick the Vast Haddock, Chief of Viking Command," Stoick informs them. At that, all guards lower their guns and salute, the one officer is shocked, and Charlie hides the fact that she is from VC. If that got out it would be bad news.

"I can get all that, but what do you mean by friends watching them?," The shocked officer asks, regaining composure.

"You two can come out now, the gigs up," Hiccup yells into the forest. With that the twins came out.

"Oh, its —," Tuff tries to say something but Snotlout covers his mouth.

"Oh, ye—," Ruff tries the same thing and Snotlout covers her mouth as well.

Stoick just tilts his head slightly, his face not changing. "Even if you had noticed them, there was still the satellite watching them. According to that, you all were moving for them, even before the crash happened. Which means that they could not have shot out the tires, because the driver had planned to slide off the road right before you got here. But since that failed they sent a message ahead, sorry but you are under arrest," Stoick informs the officer.

The officer, not having any of it, pulls his gun. But before he can get a shot off, he is sent flying and crashes into a tree. Stoick had seen the gun pulled and launched forward, striking the man and launching him back. He was still holding back, he had the strength to take something as heavy as a motorcycle and throw it like it was as light as a football.

The either officers stranded down, knowing they were in the wrong, and that they couldn't beat Stoick. It would take a small army to best him. "I will take care of this, though do send in a copy of what happened, don't leave out any details," Stoick said, looking over at us as he went and retrieved the downed officer. He would need to go to the hospital and then be questioned later.

"Alright," Jake said, noticing that Hiccup had been keeping part of his chin out of the light so Stoick would not see, and being subtle about it. They knew that if Stoick found out about them, it would just cause trouble. They got in the truck, the twins in the bed, and continued down the road.

On Berk you are allowed to have people in the bed, but the vehicle has to be registered for it. Jake has a meeting on Monday where it is getting registered. You had to live a minimum of 2 months before this could happen.

"Stoick, y—," Gobber starts but Stoick stops him.

"I know, Gobber, lets finish this up first and talk later," Stoick says. With that they send the police where they are needed, have a transport bus come along and have the Prisoner taken back to headquarters. They then get in their car and head back.

"That truck, it can perfectly change its color and plates without any giveaway," Gobber tells Stoick.

"Yes, but that is not the only thing, is it," Stoick replies.

"They didn't make themselves known for a reason Stoick. Think about it, if it were to be out that they were alive, a target would be printed on their backs more than it has," Gobber says.

"I know Gobber, what are you getting at," Stoick asks.

"I think we should stop postponing and just get on with it," Gobber informs Stoick.

"Aye, it would be for the best," Stoick answers.

"What do you mean it failed?," Eugene asks over the phone.

"The truck they pulled over had completely different plates can color from the one which supposedly shot the tail out. There was no gun in the truck, or between them and the accident. In fact the truck is scheduled to go in and be painted a rustic gold on Sunday. The officer we sent was intercepted by Stoick and completely fooled by the kids," A man reports over the phone.

"What happened to the officer?," Eugene asks.

"They are currently being transported to Viking Command," The man reports.

"Take them out, we can't have any leaks, even ones who got anonymous tips," Eugene replies.

"Of course," The man says and hangs up.

"Stoick," Gobber says, grabbing Stoicks attention.

"What is i—," Stoick starts, until he sees the crash. The transport bus was on the side of the road, crashed. The officer was no-where to be seen, but many unidentifiable's were found shot dead around the crash, they were the ones who caused it though.

"Where are the guards," Gobber asks.

"I don't know, but send for a wrecker, an ambulance, and the whole lot. I am going back to the office," Stoick replies.

With that, Stoick heads back as vehicles arrive and Gobber updates them. He has a car sent to him from VC. As Stoick arrives in VC, he notices something strange. All the officers from the bus, including the Prisoner, are there.

"What happened?!," Stoick asks, slamming his cars door.

"We aren't sure ourselves, Sir. A truck came up and shot all the hostiles down, and we hopped aboard. But our weapons were confiscated and bags were put over out heads and we were held down. Next thing we know, we are thrown out here, with the Prisoner who was laid down gently, and they left. We never saw their faces, any recognizable feature of the truck, nothing," The person in charge of the bus says.

Stoick is baffled, unable to speak and not knowing who the mysterious savior was. "Well get that officer to the med bay," Stoick says and he storms off.
