Chapter 9
Jake Pov:
It was 3 days after the Wolf Accident in the forest. We had named the black Wolf Night due to his unusual black fur and in the end it just stuck. As for the Dog, we had named her Summer due to her unusual white pelt.
By now Toothless's injury had healed mostly, though he still had a limp. Toothless had taken a liking to Hiccup, probably because he saved him. Summer on the other hand liked Emma though would not go near anyone else. Up to now we had been feeding them whatever meat we had.
2 days ago I messaged Stoick to send kibble for the dogs, fish flavored. The reason for that is out of the meat we gave them they seemed to like fish the most. He sent a message saying that it would arrive today and we have not left the property since we got here.
He also said in the message that he would be sending collars and leads for them. So we could walk them out on the street though we would have trouble with toothless. The main reason for that is because he was a wolf even if he was domesticated. Along with beds He said that the person delivering the supplies would also register Hiccup or known as Henry, Night's owner. An Emma would be registered as Summer's owner.
I was in the front lawn with Hiccup and Emma enjoying the veiw when the car pulled up. I went up to the gate and opened it welcoming the man inside. "Hello, I am guessing you are Jackson right." The man said to me. "Yes and you are?" I asked since it is always best to know who your guests are.
"My name is Peter, VC SV sent me with your delivery and to get the animals registered." The man said and I know what SV stood for, Stoick the Vast. Though I am wondering what VC stands for. "Yeah, by the way what does VC stand for?" I ask him.
"Here is your package and now on to registering the dogs." He said avoiding the question, handing me the box, and walking across the driveway to Hiccup and Emma. I take the box inside and set it down between Emma's room and the kitchen.
I go back out to see the man filling out paper work for them. Thinking back to how the events had happened Alvin thinks that the Wolf was brown and the dog the same. I guess being smeared in blood helps.
I was taken out of my thoughts when I hear. "Ok that should be it, all I need to do is go file this. Have a great day and enjoy your pets." The man says as he leaves and wondering what was on the paperwork I go and ask them. "So what did you guys put on the paperwork?"
"Well he asked us the color, breed, relationship and age. We ended up saying they both were dogs to keep them safe. We said the color as what they were. Relationship Unknown, but the age we don't know but judging by size they should be turning 2 in 6 months." Hiccup says to me.
"Got it, well we have the supplies so we should talk on where to put them. And I think that they are mates because otherwise they would not be acting like that, let alone completly different in color." I say pointing to the 2 animals greeting each other.
"Yeah, I guess your right there." Emma responds. "Well we could put Summer's bed in Emma's room and Night's in Henry's. Along with a spare in the entrance area for them to cuddle." I suggest to which they think on before Hiccup answers. "That should be alright." And Emma nods to that.
"Ok, well you 2 enjoy you Wolf and Dog while I go unpack." I say leaving them to the animals. I go to the box and take my Cooters Place pocket knife out. I open the knife and cut the box open before putting the knife away. I open the box and take out the 2 small beds and 1 large.
I put the first small one in Emmas room in the corner out of the way. I take the second one and put it in Hiccups room also out of the way. I grab the large one and put it in the entrance area as Snotlout walks up from Studying. "Whatcha up to Jake?" He asks me.
"I am laying out the supplies we got, how goes your testing and stuff?" I ask him. "Good, I am gonna have Emma check it once she is done. Can I help?" He asks back. "Sure, can you get the leads and collars out of that box. The one with Night's name on it give to Hiccup and you get the picture, right." I tell him.
"Yeah, leave it to me." He says grabbing the collars and leads taking them out front. I look in and see the food and water dishes along with the kibble. I grab the dishes and go wash them out. After that I take them and put them by the large bed.
I take the water ones and fill them up with water and put them back. I take my knife out again and open up the kibble and pour it in the food bowls. Since I don't want the pets getting into these I take a paperclip, seal it, and put it in the closet upstairs.
Seeing how thats good I should get back to working on my warriors cats game.
If you did not know, Jake likes the Warrior cat series so he is making a game based off of them. In the 3 days that he has been at the house he has written around 500 lines.
