Just as Emily was still going on and on, a call from Anna came through. Iris had neither the desire nor the need to continue listening to Emily, so she picked up Anna's call, her voice low, "Hello?"
Anna sounded anxious, "Iris, where have you been these past few days? Your relationship with Theo cannot be hidden anymore. There are a lot of reporters surrounding the company building. Our colleagues are getting photographed and randomly stopped for questions about you, it's really bothering everyone coming to work."
Iris felt her head buzz, her heart pounding wildly, and her chest heaving with the unexpected turn of events.
"What else?" Iris asked, her voice trembling slightly, "Mr. Hadid has instructed the staff to work remotely this week, and," Anna paused, her voice laden with concern, "the boss wants to have a talk with you."
