"What's this about?" Theo turned to Jim, his voice sharp with urgency.
Jim just kicked back on the couch, legs crossed, "Just watch. You will know what happened after seein this."
Antony, on edge, clicked open the file. What popped up was Emily's picture, handing a wad of cash to that 'accident-causing' reporter, noticing the time was right before the day her was supposed to leave for the United States.
Theo's face was a mix of confusion and suspicion, a hint of panic creeping in.
"What's going on here?" Iris was equally stunned. Why would Emily pay off the reporter who'd caused her disability? Unless... She didn't even dare to think further about it. If that was the case, it was just too twisted. She leaned in towards Jim, waiting for him to fill in the blanks.
