Still tender from her minor injuries, Iris gently pushed away Theo's advances. "Theo, I don't think I can," she murmured, her voice a blend of apology and resolve. She could see the longing in his eyes, she missed him as well, she missed his kisses, his touching and he whispered in her ears…and it was hard for her to deny him, but she knew her body wasn't ready for it.
