After finally making their way through the throng of reporters, Theo and Iris reached the car that was waiting to pick them up and too away from the airport frenzy.
Theo helped Iris into the car, his eyes never leaving her face, searching for any sign of distress on it. Once the car doors closed, the cacophony of the reporters' questions was replaced by the silence inside the vehicle.
Iris let out a shaky breath, her body still trembling from what they've just experienced. Theo's hand found hers, gripping it tightly, trying to lend her some of his strength, while Iris was still trying to calm her racing heart.
After getting into the car, Theo quickly exchanged a knowing look with Antony, who was sitting in the passenger seat. Antony nodded subtly and pulled out his tablet to start working and typing.
Theo had tasked Antony with finding out who had leaked the news about Theo taking care of Iris in the States to the reporters.
He wouldn't spare them.
