The grand hall squealed with excitement and chitt chatter as all the students gathered around, wondering what must have been the information the principal wants to share amongst the students and staffs which caused the disruption of the teaching and learning progress of the students.
As the principal began, " it may not be of a new information to you all that your exams are just by the corner but the director and other personal including myself have brought to the thought of an excursion, mostly to give you all a little break from school work before the exam's, those who wish to partake, should meet the secretary for futher questions and a letter or text message will also be passed across to your parents. It took some few days before the processes and payment for the excursion were put together but at last it all came to an end.
On a bright sunny afternoon the student's which had paid for the for the excursion all came around to the basketball pitch awaiting the bus, which will take them to a camp site, as earlier mentioned by the secretary. Everyone were sitted and the bus took off, along the way when the chit chattering amongst students and teacher's subsided the choristers along side the principal raised a worship song and they sang and prayed.... It was quite a journey, taking up about 4-5 hours before they reached. The driver reached to a point and stopped where they wrote "Sunshine Splash and Butterfly Bliss Retreat" on the sign board. The principal turned to announce that they have finally reached there destination, to find a bus filled with sleeping students, he gradually woke them up one by one, they came down after being woken. The pupils were dumbfounded by the view of the retreat, such splendid water falls, grasses were trimmed, birds were flying all-over...etc. After a moment of delay the principal told the students to share themselves into five groups, taking the tent on the handle of the plastc board before entering.
During sun down everyone came around the bonfire in the middle of the camp, roasting marshmallows, dancing, singing, chit chatting etc... Untill the principal said he wanted to share a story amongst all students...
He began. " In those days, when most development hasn't been carried out on this place, it was said that, this camp was runned by a wise old sorcerer named Elara, who had the ability to see the future and communicate with the spirits, She had gathered a group of gifted individuals from all works of life, witches, werlocks, healer's and shapeshifters to train them in the ways of magic. Each they on this camp the mystics would practice their spells and potions, honing their skills under Elara watchful eye, they would gather in the forest to gather rare herbs and crystals, seeking to unlock the secrets of the natural world, But not everything went smoothly for them, They were dark forces at work seeking to disrupt the balance of the magic in the world." He continued.
" Rumors began to spread of a rival camp, one that practice forbidden crafts and arts to harness dark energies for their own gain. Elara knew that she ought to protect her camp and it's inhabitants from any form of threat, She called upon her most trusted students to embark on a quest to uncover the truth behind the rival camp and put and end to their nefarious plans.
As they journeyed through the forest facing dangerous creatures and powerful spells, the mystics discovered that the rival camp was led by a former student of Elara's who had succumb to the lure of dark magic. In a climatic battle between light and darkness, good and evil, of the camp fought bravely to they are home and the magic the bound them together. In the end it was Elara's wisdom and guidance that led them victory banishing the darkness and restoring peace to the forest once more." Said the principal, the student's were astonished by the story the principle said and went futher and questions on if the mystics still leave kn the forest, the principal showed uncertainty but was sure that they weren't totally eradicated.
As it was already late when the principle finished his story, and most of the students haven't had dinner they decided to take junk food before heading to their various tent's. While Jane and her friends entered their tent, Jane's curiosity hit her.
" Ruth and Alexa aren't you guys curious about if those mystics are still alive, what if they know where here in their camp and watching us?" Jane said.
" Aha Jane, your thinking too far...which one is what if there are alive and watching us, your getting me scared oo, it's just us three in this tent oo" Ruth added.
" Actually I was thinking if we could check for ourselves" Jane mentioned.
" Are you nuts, we should just walk into the forest, with no clue of where we are headed, nobody to fight if we encounter the witches, werlocks or more from what the principal mentioned." Ruth said enfartically.
" Yeah Jane, Ruth is making some points here, although it won't be that bad if we also check for ourselves." After much deliberation they all agreed on going to the forest, they gathered extra clothes just oncase, food, snacks, water, etc on their way out, they saw Archie and told Archie about their plans on going to the forest although he tried to talk them out of it, he was also intrigued and decided to follow them.
As they wandered through the forest, she stumbled upon a mysterious old map, hidden beneath a pile of leaves. Intrigued Jane carefully unfolded the map and studied it closely. It depicted a series of winding paths leadind to a hidden treasure deep within the heart of the forest. Excited by the prospect of embarking on a grand adventure, Jane set off on a quest to uncover the hidden treasure, I should follow the maps intricate directions, she and her friends encountered all manner of obstacles and challenges on their way, from treacherous cliffs to running set by mischievous forest creature's which to am extent confirmed Jane's curiosity on the existence of the mystics.
As they grew closer to the hidden treasure, Jane and her friends found themselves facing they are greatest challenge yet, a towering water fall blocking their paths. Unterred Jane devised a plan to build a makeshift raft and navigate the rushing wters to reach the other side.
After their journey Jane and her friends finally reached the hidden treasure a chest overflowing with glittering Jewels and precious artifact's. Overwhelmed with joy and wonder Jane realized that the true treasure was not the riches before her, but the incredible journey she had taken and the friends that went alongside.
With a heart full of gratitude and satisfaction Jane returns back to the camping site and during morning hours, she calls the attention of all the staff's and students present to show and tell them about the journey they embarked on. After much was said the principal scolded her because she didn't consider her own safety neither did her friends before embarking on such journey. But was also glad that they came back safely and also with a bounty. Jane kept the treasure and after few days they returned back to school and their normal lives, the bounty was shared amongst teacher's some students and the family of those who had embarked on the journey.
