While running, Lee Han stored his bow in his storage and tried to find the most potent vampire-killing weapon. Although he lacked experience fighting vampires in real life, his progress in the game was undeniable. He knew he had to cut off their heads with a sharp object.
He saw a pair of 20-centimeter-long gold-rusty swords in his system inventory. He recognized this type of weapon, typically wielded by assassins.
'Why are there weapons here?' Lee Han didn't remember ever buying this weapon.
'Master, this is a good weapon. Its name is 'Double Pandora.' I believe it's the reward to complete your quest,' Lara explained.
'I see,' Lee Han said as he picked up the weapon, finding it perfect for killing the Bloodsucker pursuing him.
"Why the rush, human?" a voice could be heard from behind.
'Fuck!! Those bloodsuckers are so fast...'
Lee Han could feel his heart racing as he ran even faster.

He felt a surge of happiness as the Golden Barrier came into view from a distance. As John had described, he was sure the glowing light ahead was the magical barrier protecting their base camp.

His head throbbed with pain as Lara revealed what was on their minds. However, as Lee Han approached within a few meters of the barrier, his steps suddenly halted, nearly causing Zoey to slip from his back.
'An-Another bloodsuckers!? What the fuck? Why they are here?' Lee Han couldn't help but ask Lara.
'Yes. This female Vampire was their leader,' Lara confirmed.
Lee Han's sharp gaze locked onto a woman with wavy red hair cascading down her back, her crimson eyes meeting his stare. She stood just a few meters outside the golden barrier, blocking his path. Despite his urgency, he couldn't help but notice her provocative attire—tight leather pants pressed her curvy figure, paired with a low-cut crop top barely containing her ample bosom.
"Hello, handsome... why the rush?" she flashed him an alluring smile. But to Lee Han, her words sounded more like a death note.
A smile spread across her red lips, revealing her perfectly white teeth. "You belong to me, handsome..." she declared, her pink tongue darting to lick her lips.
Lee Han swallowed hard, and a wave of disgust washed over him.
'Master, the two vampires behind her won't attack you. They're waiting while their leader plays with you. Just like—' Lara paused, leaving Lee Han puzzled.
'Just like what!?' he demanded.
'The adventurer who attempted to check Levy's condition!'
Lee Han was stunned. He turned to look in the direction Lara told him, his shock mounting as he saw the lifeless body lying motionless on the ground.
'Damn! Did they kill him before he could enter the barrier?'
'Yes, Master. So, what's our next move?' Lara asked.
'Why even ask?' Lee Han chuckled grimly. 'We fight! It's the only way to stay alive, isn't it?'
After killing Elara and rising several levels, Lee Han's confidence in his strength soared.
With Lara by his side, able to use her magic as support, he feels better prepared than ever to face the threat of the vampires. Killing them would be his next goal, as he understood that he needed to engage in battles and collect experience points to level up further.
Lara's laughter echoed in Tristan's mind, easing his worries. He knew Lara would advise him to retreat if she sensed any danger.
But why is Lara so confident now? Usually, she would ask him to run, like she did when he faced the Siberian Huskie Monster a few days ago.
Thinking over this, a thought suddenly crossed Lee Han's mind.
'Lara, has your power returned?'
'No, master... but I've discovered something interesting. Each time you level up, I sense my base power increasing,' Lara replied, giggling to convey her happiness.
'Wow! That's incredible, Lara...'
This was the best news Lee Han had heard today. At least he has a powerful ally to cross this dangerous place and return to his hometown.
'Alright, let's fight now. Looks like that Vampire's patience is wearing thin.'
Lee Han could see the female Vampire advancing towards him, baring her fangs and occasionally licking her lips as if thinking of him as her delicious meal.
However, when Lee Han wanted to attack, he remembered Zoey, who was still on his back. How could he fight with someone on his back?
Before Lee Han could tie Zoey's body to his, he heard Zoey's feeble voice in his mind.
'Lee Han put me down. I will kill them!'
Instantly, Lee Han turned to glance at Zoey's face. Their face so close that they caused his heart to beat faster. Without hesitation, he gently put her to the ground.
'Zo-Zoey, have you fully recovered?' Lee Han asked with concern.
'No, I haven't,' Zoey smiled stiffly before she continued, '—But, compared to you, I'm still stronger and could kill them all.'
Lee Han couldn't help but chuckle inwardly. 'Alright, you handle their leader. I will take care of the two behind...'
Zoey looked up at Lee Han with a frown. 'Do you really want to meet your creator so badly that you're willing to die at their hands?'
Lee Han, "...."
'Listen, Mr. Lee Han, you are no match for them. Just stay here. There is no need for you to fight them. Your invisible shield will protect you. I will take care of their leader as fast as I can. And handle the two behind,' Zoey said confidently.
She was well aware of her condition. If she were in top condition, she could end this female Vampire with a single move.
These three vampires were no match for her; even Victor was afraid of her.
However now...
Zoey's power had decreased so much that her strength may be the same as Levy, Gold Rank Level five. But that would be enough to end these vampires' existence if Victor didn't show up.
