With his blurry eyes, John could see that the blade in Zoey's hand was still wet with dark blood.
'She already slew that golden-haired vampire?'
John clearly remembers, before closing his eyes, the bloodsucker only a few steps from him.
He feels thrilled. He looks around to check and finally sees the golden-haired head on the ground.
John's smile grew wider to know that the bloodsucker had met his end.
Before John could greet his lovely General, Zoey's voice shocked him.
"Don't ever think to give up your life, John! If you are in a hurry to meet your ancestor, I will volunteer to chop off your head now and feed it to canine monsters!" Zoey's icy warning is like a slap on the head for John.
He almost choked.
