Tian woke up with a gasp, wiping the drool dripping down his mouth. "Huh…" Looking around the unfamiliar room and unfamiliar sheets, he was shocked. "Where am I…?" The last thing he remembered was drinking with his buddy who had also left him for heaven. Then he blacked out.
"Ouch… ahhh, my head hurts." He fell back on the bed, rolling around in pain. He had never been in pain like this before. "Why does it hurt…" Groaning, he frowned. His breath stank.
Puffing a breath of air onto his cupped palm, he sniffed again. He almost retched at the nasty smell. "Oh my god… why this torture? Being human is dirty, painful, tiring, and very, very difficult. God, please take me as yours again. I can't accept this torture." He sniffled, gazing up at the popcorn ceiling.
But no one replied to his plea.
"What did I expect? Why would God accept a failure like me? I had years! Years to find my target, his love match, yet I failed so miserably. I deserve this." He crumbled, hugging the woolen sheets. "Wait… it's not my fault. It's that Hui Lang's fault. That stone of a man. I swear he doesn't have a heart, just a piece of black rock there. Feelings? What is that he would ask."
That man really aggravated him.
"Tsk, forget about that stone face." He patted his face hard. "If I'm going to be human, I'm going to enjoy it to the max so that even the heavens are jealous of me!" He shot up and rushed out the door. It was time to meet his roommate.
The room he lived in was connected to a living room and a small kitchen. There seemed to be no one home at the moment. He just spotted a note on the fridge with a list of groceries.
"Oh, maybe I can help out my roommate with this." He picked up the list and walked out of the house with a hop in his step.
Fluttering footsteps, people chatting, and loud honks filled his senses. Hui Lang groaned. 'Who turned on the TV… it's so loud.' He turned to his side in hopes of muffling the sound with his pillow.
To his surprise, he felt the hard, cold ground.
'Huh… did I roll over?' He opened his tired eyes that had stuck together only to see a dirty wall in front of him. '...'
'Where…'
Blinking, he sat up, taking a good look around.
The world… it looked massive. The passersby's feet looked bigger than a car!!!
He sat there stiffly.
'Did I enter an alternate world like 'Lilliput'?' He blankly gazed around. His heart started to pound anxiously. 'Okay… calm down, Hui… this is not a big deal at all. I can handle this… there has to be a scientific answer to this.'
He leaned on his arms to stand up.
On his hind side, he spotted a small pink hoof.
'!!!!!!'
"It must be a dream… this can't be real…" He fell back to the ground. His words came out as cute grunts and oinks.
"Nooo!!!!"
A loud squeal came out of him.
"This is not real." Shouting so, he dashed out of the corner he was laying on. His four hooves ran across the cobblestone path, creating a small clicking sound. Many passersby passed by him. Some even came close to stomping on his small body.
Squealing, he dashed into the familiar pathway.
Suddenly a huge figure squatted in front of him.
Hui Lang tried to look up, but sadly a pig's body did not allow him to gaze up at the sky. He was only able to see a pair of fair hands reach out to him.
He quickly dodged, backing away from those grabby hands.
"Where are you going?" Those beautiful hands grabbed him and lifted him up to reveal a stunning face.
Hui Lang froze. He was more than familiar with this beauty. It was none other than that angel that had haunted him from his childhood.
"A good weight," Tian pulled the small creature close. "I bet you would taste good in a stew…" He licked his lips just thinking about the delicious human food. "Oh, this is the best part of living as a human. I can eat all the delicious food I like. Heavens just watch, I'm going to make you so jealous and make you call me back."
"Noo!!!!" Hui Lang squealed loudly and wiggled his body to escape his clutches.
"Whoa, that was close. Stay still, or else…" He hugged the little piglet in his arms and happily hopped over to the grocery shop.
