"Alright, guys, it's been a couple of days since I last said- thought- whatever did something here, so basically, first when I got home, I tried to check the changes, and man, was I surprised the core storage of my anima seems to be drawing more from a connection to the ocean? At least that's my assumption because I can feel my storage gaining anima at a constant rate; fingers crossed, it is constant, and not just going to stop after a day."
"Second, I'm now gaining vita, even though the awakening had nothing to do with it. If I had to guess when the rift for my anima opened, so did the one for vita. The side effect is that I'm feeling the onset of my body becoming stronger. I asked my father, and he said that I have the warrior's constitution, or whatever he called it, basically meaning my body will constantly get stronger as I grow older and train, which is good news. At least I won't be weak my whole life."
"Another thing is that after my dad found out, he said I could begin training, so that's a plus. He asked me what weapon I wanted to train in, and I said unarmed, my reasoning being that since my body is going to constantly get stronger, I might as well use it to my advantage—probably a stupid idea, but eh, that's for future me to deal with."
"Now that brings me to the current time where I'm getting my ass be-"
Before I could finish my internal log, I was almost hit by the wooden sword my dad was swinging, managing to dodge just in time.
"Come on, son, you have to be constantly vigilant, or else the enemy will take advantage of your lowered guard," he says as he proceeds to try and hit my side.
In response, I try to move my vital energy to coat my arm to protect it while moving it in the way of his attack, if only barely succeeding in time.
With this small window of time, I try something majorly stupid, hoping for some positive results. I proceed to try creating a burst of anima as I punch him in an attempt to catch him off guard.

'After finding out that Sam had a warrior physique, to say I was excited would be an understatement. I immediately took him out to train as he soaked up what I taught him like a sponge, but I did not expect him to learn this fast. At first, he couldn't even keep track of where I was attacking from, but after maybe five days, he was even able to counterattack. Granted, I was holding back a lot, but I'm proud of his progress, I think to myself while preparing to block his latest attack
I put my sword in the way of his fist, ready to block his attack, and then retaliated, only to get caught by surprise by something I had never seen before. His fist, as small as it was, carried more force than ever before, I felt like my sword was hit by some kind of repelling force and sent out of my hand as his fist produced black sparks.
"what in the world" I yelled

As I knocked the sword out of his hand, I did my own celebratory dance, as my experiment brought results, and I caught him by surprise.
"What did you do?" He asked in confusion at what had just occurred.
"I simply just put a bunch of spirit energy into a punch and hoped something happened and it worked," I said in response
"Probably not the most efficient of moves, but you win this time, son. Now let's go eat before the food gets cold," he said before he began walking inside the house.
I followed behind, glad I beat him, and also hungry from this whole ordeal.
"I got a new move. I will have to work on it, though it can't be a glass cannon. Sam signing out."
