"Hmm, back here talking to myself again, I wonder if the effect of this place is to drain my sanity anyway. Since we last talked, I've learned some things. First, the drain on myself goes two ways. The waters around me, which I will call anima from now on, seem to be able to be absorbed. It wasn't easy figuring it out though."
"How'd I do it? you ask. Well, it started when I began experimenting with myself. You see while meditating to keep myself from fading, I took the opportunity to look further into myself, and when I noticed there were channels for anima to flow through me, I had a new theory: what if I was absorbing the anima, or more accurately, exchanging with the external liquid, and when I slept, the balance between internal and external became imbalanced causing the anima that is seemingly making up me and my memories to be replaced? This, of course, brought about a new experiment.'
"The experiment consisted of me slowly manipulating the channels to create a central storage of sorts using my focus. I made it so the internal anima, or ia for short, was condensed by the incoming external anima, which will be called ea from now on. I then took inspiration from when I was alive and created gates of sorts to only allow ea to enter but stop ia from being expelled. This intern stopped erosion in its track. The only downside is, well, honestly, I'm not sure what the problem is, but if it was naturally being exchanged, there must be a reason. "
