"Did you like my gift?" Masaru called out to Makoto, who was approaching him.
"Yes, another account closed. Now it's your turn, Masaru." Masaru extended his hands towards Makoto. "I'm sorry, but everything will proceed as I desire."
"I won't allow that."
"Then you have to defeat me on the battlefield." Masaru's eyes widened. Makoto continued walking towards his cell without making a sound. When Masaru returned to his cell, he noticed Kano sitting on Makoto's bed.
"Well, what's your question?" It would be a fun game for Masaru, but the winner was clear; no one could defeat Masaru.
"I've seen through you. Your first performance revealed your different intentions. That means I have to stop you." Masaru raised his hands to face level in disappointment. "Is this it?"
"No." Kano stood up, opened his eyes, and his purple eyes matched perfectly with his long purple hair. He placed his hand on Masaru's shoulder and squeezed. Masaru suddenly dropped to the ground. "This should be enough for you to understand."
"You!" Masaru trembled, experiencing a mix of anger and happiness. Without saying anything, Kano left the cell. "Hahaha, this is going to be fun. I eagerly await our encounter."

"Ladies and gentlemen, welcome to another arena day. This time, we have two new warriors." Masaru smiled at Kano; Kano, like Makoto, stood quietly.
"On one side, we have Masaru, who prides himself on a sense of justice!" "Masaru, Masaru!" Masaru had many supporters. "You can do it, Masaru!" Anton was among those fans, with tears on his face. "On the other side, we have Kano, who allows us to control spirit users but surprisingly is also a spirit user himself!" "You can do it, Kano, we trust you." Kano's supporters were the majority, given his great fame in the city and the many contributions he made.
"Take your positions, warriors!" Masaru and Kano passed each other. "Let the battle begin." The audience eagerly awaited the unfolding events. Kano threw one of his two swords to Masaru. "Take this." Masaru examined the sword he held. "A really nice gift. No time for small talk here." Kano suddenly appeared in front of Masaru. Masaru defended himself with the sword, pushed back by the clash of swords.
"The advantage is mine, Masaru. You have no chance against me with those two arts." Masaru stood up. "So, you knew, you were watching us, right? Hehehe." Masaru had many more arts, but now wasn't the time to reveal them. Being on the disadvantaged side would make it an enjoyable game for him. He swung the sword, tying a string to it, and threw it towards Kano, but Kano swiftly avoided all the strikes.
"You're performing below my expectations." Kano stopped and looked at Masaru. "We're just getting started; let's have some fun." "I don't have time for fun." Kano suddenly disappeared, and the sword pierced Masaru's abdomen. Masaru spat blood from his mouth as the sword pierced through his body. "Ah, that was harsh." Kano was analyzing Masaru; the smile on his face never faded. There was a plan here, but now they had entered an inevitable conclusion. Kano firmly gripped the sword.
"Let's finish this." Increasing the flow in his arms, he swiftly swung the sword upward. The sword, soaring upwards, cut through all of Masaru's bones and organs, splitting Masaru in two.
