Inside of a dark castle in the demon continent, an important discussion was happening and it was involving a disruptive energy force in space-time.
"How will we deal with this unknown time-traveler? They know the future and will likely disrupt our plans." A man said.
This man had jet black hair and crimson eyes. His presence was strong as the vampire lord of the world, if not stronger and inside his eyes, they held the souls of thousands of people.
"Send Nyx to track them down. She's best at hunting that odd magic following time-travelers. After all, this isn't the first time-traveler she has hunted." Another voice said.
"Nyx? Wouldn't that be to excessive?" A female voice asked.
"Since you're a new leader, I will explain it to you. It requires a great deal of mana to time-travel through time. We learned that from our past mistakes of ignoring them. Do you remember David, the upcoming vampire king? He was nearly assassinated by a Sun Knight from the future." A male voice explained.
_______
Amidst a certain chaos caused by a certain someone, Sebastian was running throughout a panicking crowd of elves. Hot on his trail were the castle guards and their commander.
Like the voice said, the mirror revealed Sebastian entering the castle and his location. The only advantage Sebastian had over the guards was coverage among the citizens of the elven city.
"Spread out and find the intruder!" The commander shouted.
There was a problem when rushing through the city and that was the lack of Dark Guild hideouts. The information he received from Bastian was correct. There was indeed a traitor within the guild and they did reveal the information of every hideout throughout the city.
As he was running, he decided to run into a shop and pretended to be a customer. The only problem about going into the shop was the fact that nearly everybody was an elf.
'Control your breathing and relax… I can't be panicking in this situation.' Sebastian thought to himself.
While he was focusing on controlling his breathing, he didn't notice a person was approaching.
"Hello there, sir! I see this is your first time being so would like me to show you all of our wares?" A random man asked.
Quickly turning, Sebastian was ready to take the person's life but stopped almost immediately, Why? Cause the person in front of him was a werewolf.
"Yes, I'd like to browse your wares." Sebastian quickly replied.
While they were browsing the shop's wares, a group of guards came rushing inside and began asking every elf for Sebastian. As they were nearing their location, the werewolf pulled onto Sebastian's arm and into a hidden room.
The werewolf gestured for him to follow and as he did, he noticed the werewolf pull on a few books before the bookcase moved over. Following the werewolf, Sebastian arrived at a secret underground tunnel that led to a medium-sized room. He looked around the room and didn't noticed anything wrong with it until he realized the werewolf wasn't in the room with him.
Click!
Turning around, the door was closed and clicking noise was the door locking. Before he could approach the door, a orange barrier appeared around and encased him the middle of the room.
"What's the meaning of this?!" Sebastian shouted with anger.
Nobody responded to his question and silence enveloped the room with the exception of him slamming his fist into the barrier.. Each strike managed to crack the barrier but each time the barrier would repair itself at an astounding speed.
For the next few minutes, he used every move in his arsenal and the barrier still didn't break open. Both his energy and aura reserves were emptied and something occurred to him. He didn't think much about it as Jack had always interfered with him but he had nothing else to do.
'Jack said I could create Aura Crystals to increase my Aura reserves... I guess I can try that after my reserves are filled up again.' Sebastian thought.
Sitting in a lotus position, he was focusing on gathering energy from his surroundings. Unbeknownst to him though, he didn't realize that magic around was being transformed into energy for him. This was the innate ability he was born with that nobody else in the world had.
Slowly, without realizing it himself, the barrier was losing its shining light and began to diminish in strength.
______
Twelve Hours Later…
"I suppose it's time to leave." Sebastian said.
He stood up and placed his hand against the barrier while focusing his energy into his palm.
"Shatter."
The barrier instantly broke into thousands of pieces and an intense pressure was released from inside the barrier. This pressure was from his excess energy levels and immediately swept through the underground hideout.
His body was overflowing with aura and energy power to the point where he felt like he was reborn. Though, he did know that it wouldn't last so he left quickly to find the perpetrator that locked him inside.
Roaming the underground hideout, Sebastian engaged in combat with multiple targets and killed them. Once his target locked eyes with him, he noticed they were fear-stricken as hesitant to approach him.
Bang!
While distracted, a fireball had struck him in the chest and created a dust cloud. The fear-stricken soldiers knew the fireball wasn't enough to kill him so they launched their barrage of powerful spells toward him.
Bang!
Swoosh!
As the attacks settled, Sebastian broke through the dust cloud and multiple black swords could be seen above him. Before the soldiers could process what was happening in front of them, the black swords flew forward and stabbed themselves into the soldiers. The last remaining soldiers were running away but their hope to live was short lived.
"Capture!"
Like back at the forest, a small golden orb formed and began to suck in everyone who ran away and once they were within striking distance, the black swords slashed through the air and a wave of aura was released.
"Spare us! Ple-"
Before the last remaining soldier could finish his sentence, they were cleaved straight down the middle and their body fell in the opposite direction of each other. Seeing their dead comrade, the soldiers pulled out a dagger and slit their own throats so they wouldn't suffer the intruder's wrath.
Splurt!
"Haha! They feared me to the point of suicide!" Sebastian's laughter echoed throughout the hideout, striking fear into other nearby soldiers.
Boom!
Sensing an incoming attack, he slight moving his head to left and a hammer had nearly struck him in the head. Looking toward the direction of the thrown hammer, he saw the werewolf from before and anger began to rise in his body.
"I saved you from the guards and this is how you repay me?" The werewolf said.
"Huh? You trapped me inside a barrier!" Sebastian replied, angered.
Without warning, he appeared beside the werewolf and slashed at his legs. Like every opponent he faced, they were surprised by his speed and mostly suffered fatal injuries..
"My leg!" The werewolf let out a loud scream.
In the world, there were two classifications for people. There was the magic ranking and the physical ranking for everyone in the world. So far everyone he ran into all trained in magic and rarely trained in the physical ranking. This sole reason explained his survivability against powerful opponents.
"I should have known you trained in swordsmanship but I didn't think you were this good." The werewolf said, grunting.
A wall of earth was erected between Sebastian and the injured werewolf. A sense of security overcame the werewolf as he had thought his attacker wouldn't be able to break the wall but like always, it was short lived.
Bang!
In front of the werewolf's eyes, Sebastian had broke the wall with a crazy grin on his face that sent shivers down the werewolf's spine.
'Impossible! I created the wall five meters thick!' The werewolf thought.
Erecting another wall, the werewolf was too lost in thought and was panicking too much that he didn't think about running away. He stood there in disbelief as Sebastian broke through the wall again.
Slash!
In horror, the werewolf saw as a wave of black energy cut through his earth wall and continue moving forward. Surprised, he didn't have enough to move as the black energy collided into him and slammed him against a wall.
A large wave of blackness slashed through the metal wall and cut into the werewolf, slamming him against the wall. Upon impact, he felt a great pain on his abdomen as he felt a warm liquid fill his mouth.
"Ack!"
The werewolf coughed up a mouthful blood and soon his abdomen opened, and his intestines fell to the ground. Upon seeing his own intestines, he began to throw up and looked at Sebastian in horror.
"Your first mistake was throwing away your weapon. Now die!" Sebastian said
Zap!
His fist was a few inches away from the werewolf's face before he was struck from behind by a hammer. Jolts of electricity was sent throughout his body as he was electrocuted from the inside out.
"D-do you t-hink this will sto-p me!" Sebastian said between each strong wave of electricity.
His resilience surprised the werewolf and before he could do anything his throat was slit by Sebastian. The werewolf fell to the ground while holding his throat.
'This armor is surprisingly resilient to attacks like the shopkeeper said… I better ask for more when I get the chance.'
Taking one step, Sebastian fell to one knee and coughed up blood. His body began to feel pain and felt like it was ready to explode. This was caused by the amount of his aura and energy level increased from before. The only thing he thought of that could save him was to concentrate on creating aura crystals and release all of his excess energy in one go.
Releasing his excess energy would be catastrophic from the underground hideout and everyone who was above him. He didn't want to create casualties among citizens who weren't involved in the investigation.
'I have no choice.'
Sitting in a lotus position, he entered a state of complete concentration. While concentrating, he was transported into a dark empty void and in front of him, a crystal was formed.
As he approached the crystal, he noticed it was hollow and knew what to do. Inserting his aura, he could feel one of his auras becoming weaker. He repeated this process four more times for each aura until his excess auras were gone.
Opening his eyes, he realized he was surrounded by hundreds of guards all around. Even if he used his entire arsenal, he wouldn't be able to take a single guard down. As he looked at all the guards, he noticed a single person stood out from the rest.
"Did you really think you could disappear from me?" An elven knight said.
Staring at the knight, Sebastian realized it was the commander from before. His plans of escaping was immediately shut down by his appearance as he knew who this man was.
"Well, if it isn't the hero of the elven empire…" Sebastian said, slightly smiling.
Swoosh!
Shing!
In an instant, the commander crossed the distance between him and Sebastian and held his blade against his throat. It didn't surprise Sebastian at all that the commander was able to move so fast. After all, the commander was well trained in magic and swordsmanship.
Among the Elven Empire, there were twelve individuals who were given the title "Hero" of the Elven Empire. These people were responsible for protecting the Elven Empire from the mass-kidnapping from the Demon Continent.
"Under elven law, I shall take you in and interrogate you for illegally entering elven territory." The Elven Hero said.
'Great… Now what am I gonna do? They'll rip off my armor and my identity will be revealed…' Sebastian thought, sighing.
