Chereads / The Strongest Primordial Werewolf / Chapter 25 - Unexpected Outcome

Chapter 25 - Unexpected Outcome

Surrounded by guards all around and a sword against his neck, Sebastian couldn't form a plan or surprise attack. Each outcome would result in his death or an unfavorable outcome, so he decided to surrender for now.

Showing his hands, he surrendered and cuffs were put on his hands. They walked throughout the city until they arrived at the jail. Before they threw Sebastian into his cell, they tried to take off his armor but each attempt was futile. This was the result of the armor's skill 'Armor Lock'.

Bang!

Being thrown against a wall, Sebastian was forming a plan to escape his cell but the only problem was the cell was draining his strength. As a result, Sebastian decided to remain seated until one of the few Dark Guild operatives came to rescue him. Unbeknownst to him though, he would see a familiar face in the near future.

"What the hell happened to your ideals of treating everyone equally!? As a prisoner, I can at least be subjected to more peaceful means of treatment." Sebastian said.

"Oh shut the hell up. You invaded my city and tried to harm my people! You Dark Guild folks always wish to cause trouble for us elves!" The commander rebuked.

"Go to hell! For a supposed Hero, you treat your prisoners poorly!"

Bang!

In an instant, a rock flew through the bars and slammed hard into Sebastian's helmet. The attack so strong that it ended up knocking him unconscious. The only downside to the armor lock skill was the fact that the user couldn't move while the skill was activated, hence why Sebastian didn't dodge the commander's attack.

"Be lucky that the princess has taken interest in you. If she didn't, I would have gladly ended your life with my bare hands!" The commander's said with great hatred before exiting the cell room.

______

Four Hours Later…

"Is the Black Knight inside here?" A girl's voice could be heard outside the cell room.

"Yes. May I suggest a guard be with you?" A guard's voice replied.

"No thanks. I can handle it from here."

The door opened and a female elf entered the cell room, containing Sebastian. Upon seeing her face, Sebastian was flabbergasted as he knew who this female elf was.

"Hello, my name is Chelsea of the royal family. I heard news about the capture of you and I've always wanted to meet you ever since I heard about your amor. "

Inspecting the Dark Knight, Chelsea's curiosity increased each passing second. The armor was indeed similar to the person she spoke of but the only difference was the horns, a few smaller spikes around the armor.

"Where did you get this armor?" She asked.

"..."

"Fine. Let me ask again… Where did you get this armor?" Her voice deepened and a strange energy enveloped Sebastian's body.

Soon, he felt his mind being invaded and slowly it started to become blurry. This was Chelsea's secondary magical power, Mental Manipulation. This magic allowed her to invade the minds of people and alter the memories.

While his mind was under the effect of Chelsea's magic, she made an appearance inside his mind space. She looked around his mind space and found it strange as a person's mind space reflected their personality, lifestyle and past.

As she walked around his mind space, she noticed the ground was slowly becoming blood. Soon a massive pile of bones rose from the blood, which was followed by the ribcage of a dragon. As she looked at the piles of bones, she became fear-stricken after she laid on eyes on a demonic looking person.

"Who dares enter my domain?" His deep voice echoed throughout the mind space.

Slowly, the demonic being walked down the pile of bones until he was a few inches away from Chelsea. He then inspected her body and scoffed before he snapped his fingers.

Snap!

With the snap of his fingers, she found herself kicked out of Sebastian's mind space and sweated profusely. Immediately, a strong presence descended onto the city jail and everyone nearby froze in fear.

"I can't believe this stupid boy got himself captured." Sebastian said in a deeper tone of voice.

Bang!

The cell's room door blew open and multiple guards came in, including the commander. The first to make a move was the commander as he went in for the kill.

Bang!

Before the commander's attack could touch Sebastian, a strong gust of wind struck the commander and sent him flying through a wall. Seeing their commander taken out almost immediately, all the guards were hesitant to approach Sebastian.

"I don't know if this boy has the strength to handle this but it's worth a shot." Sebastian put hands together and spoke. "Domain Expansion: Shrine of Slaughter!"

Everyone in the vicinity was sucked into a strange dimension and fear entered their bodies. Just like the mind space, the ground was replaced with blood and a massive pile of bones followed after.

"I-impossible! Only AA-Ranked individuals can achieve domain!" A frightened guard said.

Crack!

"I knew it… This boy can't handle my strength yet. He doesn't have mana but at least he can use his energy reserves to form a domain."

The domain shattered into millions of pieces as the commander and his knights stared at Sebastian like he was monster. Before they could think of a plan, a strong wave of reddish black energy expanded outwards and nearly covered the entire city.

Everyone, who was within the area, collapsed to the ground and the only to remain standing was the commander but he fell to one knee. This was Sebastian's long lost skill that was sealed away, Emperor's Will.

Swoosh!

In an instant, he disappeared from the city jail and appeared in the center of the Elven City. He then fell to the ground to blend in with the crowded of unconscious people. Just like that, he evaded capture and death from the commander.

______

Fifteen Minutes Later…

After fifteen minutes, every elf that was knocked out had woken up and all asked the same question.

 "What happened?"

Sebastian stood up and proceeded to walk among the confused elf. He still needed to find information about the traitor among the Dark Guild. Unfortunately for him, he didn't know where to look especially since the city's armed forces were looking for him now.

As he walked, he noticed there were already poster of him around the city but it was only of his armor. Luckily, his black outfit was not known so he changed into it and blended in with the crowd.

'Dammit! How am I supposed to find the missing agent? This city is way too damn big! Maybe Chelsea has something to do with their disappearance.'

The only logical reason led to Chelsea. She had the power to manipulate the mind but he had no idea how powerful this magical power was. If she was capable of invading his mind, then she could invade the mind of the agent here. This made Sebastian think he could get rid of the idea of there being a traitor.

Expanding his energy, he was searching for her energy signature but found nothing. As he tried to look for her, he already started to think that she left the city or was concealed in a hidden veil for her safety. But that was proved wrong as he felt her energy signature behind and almost immediately, a blade was put against his throat.

I must, you're rather bad at concealing your tracks. I wouldn't have been able to find, if hadn't known what your energy signature. Now tell me, who are you?" Chelsea demanded.

"Chelsea, you said? How about a deal? I'll reveal my identity to you and I won't kill you." Sebastian replied.

"Ha! That's funny. I don't recall someone being this arrogant but there was one. Sadly, he's no longer with us on the plane of living."

"Come on, think about it. You live and my identity will be revealed to you. Besides, that blade of yours won't be able to pierce my neck." He smiled

Slightly pushing his head forward, the dagger snapped and he immediately pointed his Umbral Blade at her neck. The sudden change in situation caught her off guard. Her anger was evident on her face as she noticed her dagger was broken.

"That dagger was given to me by a special person!" She shouted at Sebastian in anger.

"You should've taken the deal."

"If only you paid attention."

Stab!

Before Sebastian knew it, a katana pierced the right side of his back and came out through the other side of his body. Soon, he started to feel sluggish and dizzy from the surprise attack and nearly fell over.

"My primary magic is light magic and it has its uses. Such as reflecting the lights from the sun and turning something invisible." She revealed.

"Cataclysm!"

Bang!

Slamming his fist into the ground, it shattered from his energy running amok inside and left Chelsea floating in the air. Knowing she can't move, he lunged forward and released a slash of black energy from his Umbral Blade. On contact, the energy embedded itself into her torso and began to spread.

"Ack!"

The black energy clung to her body and the damage to Sebastian's own body begun to heal at a slow rate. Realizing one of the abilities of Umbral Blade was life-steal, he rushed over to her and tried to pulled the black energy off but to no avail, it wouldn't come off at all unless she died.

'Sh*t! I can't have you die on me!' Sebastian thought.

An idea appeared in his head as he placed his Umbral Blade against her body and soon noticed the black energy was retracting back into the blade. After the black energy was gone, he picked her up and flash-stepped until he arrived inside a hotel. His identity as the Black Knight of the Dark Guild was already revealed so if he tried to show himself with the injured princess, he would likely end up dying.

After he gave the hotel owner some gold coins for a room, he rushed upstairs and went into the designated room. He then pulled out a healing potion and gave it to her but there was a problem. It wasn't healing her at all and this caused him to become further worried for her safety. This meant that the Umbral Blade had a passive ability to slow or even stop the process of healing.

Thinking quickly, he thought about revealing himself to the armed forces of the Elven City but he would likely end up dying so that was out the option. There was another option but he didn't want to do it. This option required him to share his energy with the Chelsea and risk her becoming a hybrid between a werewolf and an elf.

'F*ck! I'm sorry but you can't die now.' Sebastian finally made up his mind.

With no other choice, he transformed into a werewolf and bit down on her neck. He started to inject his own energy into her body until half of his energy reserves were gone. Now,, he would have to wait until she wakes up to see if she turned into a hybrid or not.

'Strange… Why did she require so much energy or is some of the black energy still inside her body? I'll just keep the Umbral Blade on her body to ensure her survival.'

Moving her body slightly, he wanted to ensure she would hold onto his weapon firmly so it wouldn't fall. Why? Cause he still needed to complete his mission so he needed her to hurry up and wake up.

Yawning, he slowly closed one of eyes and decided to sleep. If she started to wake, he would know almost immediately. Normally, he wouldn't have tried to sleep but he needed to recover half of his energy in case of an unexpected surprise.

'Let's just hope she doesn't try to kill me.' Sebastian thought.
