Chapter Thirty-Three – Frida
Before Laurel could finish speaking, two maids jumped before Sorren. She recognized them as warriors under Valkyrie, the best warrior in Green Valleys.
Valkyrie was also the daughter of the Lead that took over from her mother so Laurel had seen her a few times. She was older but never bullied her like other people did.
A warrior shot out her claws targeting Sorren's neck while the other warrior pulled Laurel away from him.
"Leave the Princess alone!" Valkyrie shouted. Laurel was stunned. What were they trying to do?
Sorren had an annoyed expression. "Huh? I didn't see you guys here earlier. When did you get here? Lia…"
A maid, Lia, walked out and bowed at him. "Four wolfesses were brought today by Beta Cade. It seems they've been working at his quarters."
