Chapter Thirty-Seven – Protect
"Eh…you think I'm ugly?" Laurel asked. Those were really bold words from a man with his face.
The warrior tsked. That wasn't the reaction he expected from someone he slapped. Annoyed, he pushed her back.
"You bitch! Yes, you're ugly. I'm going to teach you what happens to ugly girls." He began to unbuckle his belt.
Laurel's eyes darkened. He was going to teach her what happened to ugly girls? Then why unbuckle his belt?
"It better be that you're trying to hit me with the belt you're removing. Because if you're actually trying to take off your trouser to…"
"Eh? And so what?" another warrior laughed, taking off his shirt. "Beta Cade let us play around with the maids that day. He should have brought us the princess too."
Laurel's mind immediately went to the memories she has recalled that say at the prison. Indeed, Cade nearly took her to the warriors as a play thing.
