Mr. and Mrs. Muller looked at Wynonna with approval in their eyes, and everyone else suppressed their laughter. Even the usually poker-faced Shane could not help but smile.
William Muller's and Anna Watson's faces darkened but because there was nothing wrong with the way Wynonna had addressed Anna. They could only swallow their anger.
Wynonna noticed the tense atmosphere and tried to break the tension by ladling bowls of soup for them by saying, "You must be hungry. Here, please has some soup while it is hot..." William and Anna took the two large bowls, filled to the brim, and placed them in front of themselves. Now, they felt more respected.
Both of them took a spoonful of the soup and their faces changed immediately!
"What's wrong? Is it too hot? Please take your time," Wynonna 'kindly' reminded them.
The chef had added too much salt to the pork-based herbal soup. It was so salty that there was a lot left over.
