We are on our way to the orientation after entering the academy it's just a very open space with buildings throughout it we are walking to a big building not far from where we entered all the other traveler's are supposed to be here too when we get too the door but before we go inside Elise turned to Amelia " can you go take care of the businesses please I'll come by later if I can " Amelia frowns " fine " She said then left back to the carriage a bit annoyed
" why did you do that" I asked her Elise looks at me worried " I did it because I got a bad feeling " she said when we walked in it was a big auditorium with half the seats full.. a bit of people looked at us then went back to what they were doing some though were shocked to see a elf at least one not being ordered around and in rags
Elise and I found a seat near a corner not to draw to much attention after like 30 minutes and a few more people filling the seats a old man with a long white beard and hair with sharp eyes came in " welcome travelers " his voice echoed loudly making everyone turn quiet and put there attention on him
" welcome travelers I am the dean of this academy you will be staying at for sometime as you learn about this world Im sure all of you are excited to finally start learning about mana if you haven't figured it out the purpose for this academy is to help teach travelers such as yourselves about this although we haven't had your kind in over two hundred years so now we are open to the public but it's original purpose is still true the academy is just a place for you to learn and get used to this world but also for people of this world who think you are a good fit for there organizations to recruit you so don't hold back on what you can do on this note here is one of the people you may end up working for " after the dean finished his speech he motions off stage

the stage going to the center "Hello travelers I am the prince of Arcadia Eliot Wilfred "he did a gentleman's bow then continued
"I would like to officially welcome you I know most of you have already met my father but I also wanted to be able to meet you I hope all of you will enjoy your time here and I would like to let you know that those who show great promise I will invite into my own personal guard you will be paid handsomely plus the perks of being a prince's guard so please don't be afraid to show what you got on this note I'll let the dean get you on your guy's way " the prince said
The dean came back to center stage and started explaining what was going to happen after this as the prince was looking around with a smile when he spotted Elise his eyes went wide and a bright smile appeared
"It seems I am not the only one who wanted to get a look at the travelers first it seems princess Elise murdan of the elves is here as well you could have sent word you would be here as well" Eliot said pointing to Elise everyone then turned to Elise looking at her more in depth surprised there was a princess of the elves here and most didn't notice
They were stunned by her beauty and her noble aura that was coming off her now that they were paying attention Elise stood up and did a curtsy putting a smile on her face
" hello prince Eliot sorry for not sending word I had just arrived in the city
Eliot shock is head "it's ok I am just shocked to see you here what so you think of the travelers so far" he asked while looking around Elise did the same with everyone looking at her She didn't flinch " I see a lot of potential in many of them" she said plainly and Eliot nodded " indeed princess they do if it's not to much trouble what do you say to getting something to eat so we can catch up"
Elise shock her head " sorry prince Eliot but I will have to attend to my businesses in the city I'm not sure how long I will be in the capital for please accept my forgiveness " says Elise with a apologetic tone
Eliot frowns a little then return to normal " it's alright princess I know time is precious having said that I will take my leave I hope you all have a great time in the academy " then he waved getting off stage leaving the auditorium
After the prince left the dean explained everything we are going to need to know then we all left to go get our schedules and rooms" why didn't you tell the prince why you were really here " I asked Elise confused as we walked to the receptionists she turned to looks at me " sorry if that hurt you i just didn't want to break his heart in front of everyone he has been in love with me since we were children I never really felt anything for him thought he is a alright guy so I just would've felt bad" i could understand that "it's alright Elise I understand I was just curious I love you" I say as I pulled her close as we walked " love you too" Elise smiled leaning her head on me
Everyone who saw us was shocked seeing this now knowing who Elise was thirty minutes later Elise and I just got my schedule with keys to our room since you can request a room for two if you are married it was something they added to the academy after they opened it up to public since they often get married young we get to the room inside is pretty there is a bed , desk in the corner and a bathroom all in a 1800's light steam punk style
Elise came over to me " I'll have to go now since I have something to do my love I'll see you tonight I may come with you tomorrow and see how everything is " she said then gave me a kiss leaving me alone I will have to attend some classes today just to get used to where we are going and what we will be doing everyone just got a little time to find were they were going to be staying after rest for a little I got up to find my first class
..4 hours later .. well this wasn't as fun as I thought it really like being back in school at least this time around it's at least a bit interesting like that there is a Dwarven kingdom too in this world its to the north between the human and the elven kingdoms not only that but its a neutral party when it comes to them plus it's a place both humans and elves are welcomed and usually were people who don't get along with either end up or that there is a whole other continent across the water there isn't much contact with them though
Right now I'm on my way to combat class right after do mana theory class which is basically what zamel was teaching me everyone was looking at me weirdly because of my clothes a lot of them still had the clothes they came to this world in so it was wired seeing a guy with lightning on his coat and a neon purple glowing accented shirt
The combat class was in a coliseum when everyone entered the arena area there was a tall man almost 7 feet tall wit a scar on his left eye " welcome travelers I will be teaching how to fight just call me instructor pick a weapon you like and we will start "the instructor said and everyone split up to choose a weapon from the racks lucky there was a staff for me to use seeing me pick up the weapon a lot gave me confused looks
"Alright since everyone picked up a weapon have any of you actually fought or killed since you have come to this world " the instructor said then looks around only me and one other person held there hand up
" Alright what have you two fought before coming here " he said to us the other one who raised his hand was a muscular big guy with a two handed hammer stepped forward " I have gone on a monster hunt and killed a stone bear "he said proudly then everyone looked at me
I took a step forward with the staff in my hand "I have fought and killed a few slavers since coming into this world since they are all over my wife's kingdom " I said everyone looks at me shocked the instructor frowns hearing me then goes back to normal " you two are going to fight " he said and pointed to the ring everyone was shocked at this " are you sure look at him I'll squash him He isn't even using a real weapon" the muscular man said
" just get in the ring " the instructor says with a bit annoyed the muscular man and I got into the ring that was on the floor about 15ft wide " begin " he say and the muscular man changed me as I just stood there he then raised his hammer high above his head to do a big destructive smash but before he brought it down I smashed my staff's end into his balls stunning him for a second then twisted quickly thrust my staff into his face breaking his nose knocking him out
The instructor signed shaking his head disappointed " this is the difference between someone who has fought people and someone who has only fought a monster while monster can be smart it's nothing like fighting another intelligent humanoid " the instructor said
