After going to the king tell I got the job done and getting my reward I made my way to see how things are with Elise outside the academy there were a few carriages plus the royal one that was fast I thought to myself then went to our room outside I heard someone yelling I peeked into the room
" what are you even doing Elise why are you running are doing all this stuff for him you are all ways taking care of him and his problems " Amelia said to Elise angry they stared at each other for a few seconds " because I love him Ameli he means the world to me that's all the reason I need his problems are my problems "
Amelia clicked her tongue " what happened Elise you didn't use to be like this not with the others he isn't even a elf he's a human how can you know you love him you only knew him for barely a month "Elise looked at her best friend getting increasingly annoyed by all this " because I do Amelia I know it may be hard for you to understand because you never have loved before but I know I do it's different then the others he doesn't need to be a elf I can see past what happened between our races he isn't even from here I'm tried of talking about this with you I'm going to marry him because I love him unless you rather I married the duke's son now go finish packing we will leave in a bit " then Elise went back to packing our stuff
Seeing this Amelia let out a big huff in anger then left to finish packing she saw me there as she came out but just ignored me I go inside Elise's back is facing me I feel terrible for dividing them I come over to her hugging her from behind putting my head on her shoulder
" thank you for your words my love I appreciate all you do for me it means a lot I'm sorry for coming between you two" she put her arm around my head " you don't have to be sorry I do it because I want to I know you would do the same if the roles were reversed " she said lovingly
I started to help her pack after that after a few hours we were done " we will have to go by Liam's to get your other weapons he should be done now " Elise said as we made our way to the carriages Amelia was already there waiting for us we board the carriage starting our journey back to the elven kingdom we first made our way to Liam
Inside his shop was pretty much the same as ever the shop got cleaned up after what happened" welcome to Liam's fantastical emporium I am Liam how can I help you " Liam said as we walked in he smiled realizing it was us " o hello guys I assume you are here for the weapons " Elise nodded to him
"Yeah we are heading back today so we need the weapons be for we go" Liam nods then head to his workshop after a few minutes he came back with 2 boxes and a create
" it took me a longer then I thought to figure everything out "he said Then opened one of the little boxes inside was a pistol like weapon that looked like a desert eagle but the barrel was more open like a rail gun it had runes on it to there was a magazine next to it in the box I picked it up it was pretty it was black with a bit if gold as a eagle like creature engraved on the barrel with a couple runes
It felt great to hold " thank you Liam it's great " I said to he nodded the opened the second box " I even made a holster for it and the rifles are in the create with a bunch of ammo I made they can work on just mana alone but it will be less effective " he said I put on the holster then put the gun in it we chatted with him for a few more minutes then left because we had a long road ahead of us
Going to get the goblins only took a couple hours before we were headed out on the road Amelia wasn't to happy with that but surprisingly she was more welcoming once she learned what happened to them it seems she can be kind the guards on the other hand had mixed feelings some were happy to help while others were shocked and hesitant about it
..3 weeks later .. the travel has been going good nothing has happened the guards that were hesitant at first became more open with the goblins they turned out to be more out going then you would expect for the situation they went threw you can still see it in there eyes though I think they are just trying to move on as soon as they can
Lazza has been coming over to talk with Elise and I a lot she was a very lively person she even started to lean a bit of fighting from Elise over all it has been going good so far
Late into the night Elise and I were asleep on the chairs near the table we feel asleep there without knowing for some reason at that moment I felt like something was screaming at me to wake up it wasn't a voice but more a feeling I open my eye just in time to get a glimpse at something coming at me I try to move pushing Elise off me then I felt pain in my shoulder " fucking hells" I cursed loudly
Elise woke up at this point seeing the knife in my shoulder then the one who did it she feels intense anger because it was Amelia but then she noticed the way she swayed slightly plus the milky look in her eye she Knew what happened a magic circle appeared below Amelia as water tendrils wrapped around her keeping her trapped then came over to me
" are you alright my love " Elise comes over checking my wound I looked at here a bit still in shock " I'm not dead at least why did she do that " Elise pulled the knife out patching me up really quick " she is being mind controlled it's a worm that can hypnotize unbonded being its a favorite for assassins that are trying to let someone else do there dirty work luckily the can't be to far and our guards are immune to it let's see what's happening " she said after she was done
We stepped out of thr carriage it was quite a little to quite for what just happened I tried calling shadow but he didn't answer we split up she went to check on the guards I went to the goblins carriages outside it was all clear I went to open the door but it burst open a goblin woman was lunging at me trying to bite my neck I moved out the way just barely missing me then all of them came out one by one but I could tell there were a few less I could smell the blood from here they all started coming at me attacking they were faster then I thought but I still dodged the best I could not wanting to hurt them I tried to knock them out but it wasn't going so good
After a bit of dodging for a bit I end up at the end of the carriages just as I was about to go past a goblin was there waiting fore she lunged taking me to the ground they were about to bite my neck with those shark like teeth but right be for that happened she suddenly stopped and started crying on my chest I looked around noticing that all the goblins were back to normal I noticed the one on top of me was lazza she was crying as everyone else it seems they knew what they did
After a little bit I got up helping lazza up too not to long Elise was coming over to us
" what happened here " I shrugged explaining what happened over here she looked at me with concern then the carriages seeing the blood she sighed " well deal with it later we have to find out why the suddenly stopped
Shadow started coming to us out of the darkness dragging a unconscious person in his jaws " I think this is the man you all are looking for" I looked at him a little mad " were have you been this entire time " I asked him he dropped the man keeping him bound in shadows " I noticed something was wrong so I tried looking for the problem before it could come but it seems I was still to late" he said with a heavy sigh
"It's ok you brought him back alive that's all I need to find out who did this " Elise said walking to the unconscious man with a wicked smile
