Ark One: Fate Of Eostia Part Eighteen
(Third Person POV) Three Weeks Later
"God, they're already getting so big," Uta said with pride and dismay when she saw how big her triplets were getting.
Don't get her wrong, she was happy about giving birth to such healthy and strong kids but didn't want them to grow so fast. She wanted them to be small for a little while longer.
Unfortunately for the young mother, fate and genetics had other plans.
Only three weeks had passed since the triplets were born, and each had gone through massive growth spurts, confirming Typhon's theory of Lunarian growing at an accelerated rate.
Within a short time frame, Ragnar weighed about twenty-three pounds, Fenrir was eighteen pounds, and Genesis was fourteen pounds.
By the time they reach a year old, they'll most likely be capable of walking without help, speaking complete sentences, and being taller than the average one-year-old should be.
This rate of growth shouldn't be all that surprising, considering how fast Typhon has been developing as another growth spurt hit him. He was now seven feet three inches tall.
Once the triplets turn two or four, Typhon will begin their training, as the sooner they know how to defend themselves, the more at ease the young father will be. Uta didn't like them training so young and wanted their babies to enjoy their childhood, but she knew it was necessary if they wanted the triplets to survive the harshness that is their world.
The young mother could also be at ease that they would be receiving the best training the world has to offer as not only would Typhon and King train them how to fight and use Haki.
"Yeah, they are," Typhon agreed, with his fiance looking down at Ragnar in his arms with a smile. "When do you suppose they'll say their first words?" he asked curiously, and Uta hummed in thought while rocking Fenrir gently.
"Knowing how big they're already getting, I say a two or three-months," she answered while gently kissing her secondborn's head and slowly putting him back in the large cradle with the youngest of the triplets.
"I could see that," Typhon said with an amused tone.
He got from his seat and went to place Ragnar with his siblings. The young father smiled as he saw the triplets cuddle together for warmth.
Uta walked up to him, wrapped her arms around him, and rested her head on him, looking down at the children with him. Typhon returned affection and wrapped his arm around Uta, bringing her body closer to his.
"Love."
"Yeah?"
"Which Devil Fruits will you give them?" she asked curiously, and Typhon looked thoughtful for a moment.
"Ragnar will get the Scarlet Emperor, Fenrir will get the Great Devourer, and Genesis will get the Grave Guardian," he answered.
"Isn't the Scarlet Emperor the one Kaido wanted you to eat a while back?"
"Yeah. I didn't eat it because I wanted our firstborn to inherit it as it's the strongest out of all our Devil Fruits."
Uta frowned. "I don't know about that. The others would give it a run for its money."
In their spare time, the young couple would research known Devil Fruits, and they naturally read about the Devil Fruits they had in their possession. To their shock and glee, they were some of the most powerful Devil Fruits in the world, each having a myriad of abilities that would give their children an unfair advantage in a fight.
"True...but that's only in its basic state," Typhon stated, making his lover look at him in confusion.
"What do you mean?" she asked, and the Lunarian smirked at her question.
"As an early wedding present, Olga gave me two books: one was about Haki, the other was about Devil Fruits, and let's just say I found some valuable information in both books," he grinned excitedly.
The Lunarian told everything he learned from the books to his fiance, and by the end of it, Uta was in disbelief.
"Wow...thats a lot to take in," Uta replied after hearing everything Typhon told her. "Does anyone besides me and Olga know about this?" she asked, looking at her fiance, and he shook his head.
"No, only the three of us are aware of this information, and it's better if it stays like that for now. The less people know about the information I know, the better," Uta nodded in agreement.
If their enemies found out the kind of knowledge the trio had, they would be hunted down, have the information extracted from them by any means, and then killed.
The duo continued to talk for a while until Mikasa came into their room.
"You two have been requested to the council room," Mikasa said with a stoic tone, and they nodded.
(Time skip)
Everyone besides Prim, Alicia, Maia, Lulu, and Kaguya was in the council room, as the other five were at their respective forts preparing for a demonic invasion.
Kushina had reported that the Black Dogs and the demonic army were heading toward them.
"They've split their forces into seven large legions to capture a fort. Each legion has a hundred thousand low-ranking demons, five thousand Black Dogs, five mid-ranking demons, and one high-ranking demon," Kushina finished her report, and everyone grimaced at those overwhelming numbers.
"I knew their numbers were going to be big, but not that big," Page commented with a worried tone.
"That's not all," Typhon replied, making everyone look at him curiously. "It'll take time for the other five legions to reach the Forts, especially with numbers as large as theirs, unless they could teleport them to the front of the forts, which I doubt they could because if the demons could, they would've done so already," the teen pointed out, and everyone agreed with that statement. "The only two forts we need to worry about at the moment are Alicia's and Prim's. Then, once we're done with those legions, Me, King, Mikasa, and Kushina can handle the five before they can reach the others," he finished.
"I'm done with that idea," King replied. "Did you already inform the others?" he asked Kushina, and she nodded. "Good. Before this session ends, is there anything else we need to address?" everyone shook their head.
"Not that we're aware. We all know of roles and are prepared for an invasion," Celestine replied.
With the combined efforts of Typhon, Olga, Kushina, and Celestine, they prepared all seven of the forts in time.
Olga's ability to create an army of monsters within a short time frame, each fort was protected by not only their army of a few thousand men but also an extra five thousand powerful monsters armed with crystal weapons that Typhon created and were blessed by Celestine.
Typhon reinforced the structure of the seven forts with Titan Crystals, and Celestine placed runes on the crystalline material to prevent them from being damaged by magical attacks and further increase their durability. Now, it would be ten times harder for the invaders to breach the cities. They also reinforced the armor of their soldiers, increasing their survivability.
Kushina, with her clones, set a multitude of complex Sealing traps around all the forts that would only activate and harm an individual with ill intent. She also created a teleportation Seal that would teleport all the residents to a safe location if the forts began getting overruned by the enemy.
Besides the defenses of their territories, each fort has enough supplies to last them for a year or two, although they doubt the war will last that long.
King nodded and looked at Kushina. "Any estimations on when the enemy will arrive at Feoh and Ur?"
"About a few days, Lord King," She replied and then added. "Demons don't require sustenance or sleep for weeks, from what I've learned."
"The more I learn about these cunts, the more I wanna eradicate them," Ulti commented with an annoyed groan. "It's too bad I can't join in on the fun smashing in demon skulls sounds like an opportunity of a fucking lifetime," she pouted childishly and crossed her arms under her bust. Her eyes then narrowed at her fiance. "THIS IS ALL YOUR FAULT!!!" she pointed her finger at Typhon, who gave her an amused expression. "YOU JUST HAD TO FUCKING KNOCK ME UP YOU SEXY ASSHOLE!!!!"
"I'll make up to you somehow," the teen replied with an amused tone. "How does a demon weapon, skull, or both sound?" Ulti continued to look at him with rage in hers but eventually calmed down.
"...I want both, and the weapon better be a Morningstar," the pregnant teen grumbled.
"As you wish, love," he got from his seat and kissed her head, making the girl smile. "If thats everything, I'm gonna spend some time with my children before we head out; wanna come with?" he asked Ulti, who nodded happily.
The trio left the room and went to enjoy their few days of peace before the war for Eostia began.
(A Few Days Later)
"How do I look?" Typhon asked, looking at his fiance's with an expectant look.
Typhon was currently wearing the armor set Celestine commissioned for him.
His armor was black as night, with intricate red fire designs all across the armor. The armor set was incredibly durable, light as a feather, and didn't restrict the teen's movement. It was as if he was wearing regular clothes. Celestine also blessed it and placed several protective Runes on it.
The helmet had a narrow t-shaped opening, curved horns with one on each side that pointed upward, and spikes on the bottom part of the helmet.
The pauldrons were triple-layered, with the top part of the shoulder protection slightly thicker than the other two layers. It protected the front, back, and some of the teen's upper arm.
The chest plate was double-layered, with the top part having a red face forward dragon head symbol on the front, with swirls of flames surrounding the head and lower part of the armor.
The gauntlets he covers his lower arm, hand, and fingers, with the latter being sharps enough to easily allow his digits to dig into the flesh of enemies. The gauntly were also covered with dozens of one-inch spikes, making his fists all the more deadly if he chooses or is forced to engage in hand-to-hand combat.
Below his lower body was an armor plater that protected his groin, tassets, spiked greaves with pointed knee cops and sabatons.
"You look like a true warrior," Olga commented with an approving tone and appreciative nod. Everyone nodded in agreement. "I approve of the spikes."
"Same!" Ulti chirped. "You should add spikes to your other clothes! That would be pretty hot!"
"I can agree with that," Uta replied, looking at Typhon with a lustful gaze.
"Although, promise me you won't add leather next. We don't need another King," she joked, earning a chuckle from everyone.
Typhon grinned. "Trust me, I'm not into leather, but I'm glad you three approve of the spikes. I requested the blacksmiths to add them. I wanted to make myself look extra intimidating," his grin then faded, and he let out a sigh.
"You alright?" Uta asked, placing a hand on his cheek and looking at him with concern.
"Yeah, just wanna get this war over with," he replied and leaned toward Uta, placing a short yet loving kiss on her lips. He then pulled her into a hug.
"I get what you mean," Uta looked up at him. "...are you sure you don't want me to come with you? We both know my Devil Fruit could be a significant asset on the field."
"No doubt about it, but it drains you of your stamina too quickly, and you haven't been training due to your pregnancy," he pointed out, and she grimaced.
"Fine...but you better train me since it was your fault I was pregnant in the first place," Uta joked, making the Lunarian smile.
"Fair enough."
The door to their room opened, revealing Kushina, also wearing armor similar to a samurai.
"It's time," she said in a grim tone, and Typhon nodded.
The Lunarian said his farewells to his lover, and once that was done, he donned his helmet. The teen then looked at the redhead.
"Let's get this over with."
End.
