The Blue Sea is a large body of salt water that is roughly divided into four different quadrants: the East Blue, the West Blue, the North Blue, and the South Blue. This sea dominates the surface of the world, and these divisions are created by two natural barriers that cut roughly perpendicularly through the middle of the world.
In this enormous ocean, there are many islands and mysteries that have never been explored. This includes culture, language, food, and fashion. There are still plenty of fascinating things to see, feel, and learn.
In light of all the wealth and splendor that this world had to offer, a truly magnificent age came into existence. This age was known as the age of pirates, and some people consider it the golden age.
All of this transpired due to a man named Gol D. Roger leaving a will at the precise moment he was about to be put to death for it to be carried out. The will contains a great deal of meaning and mystery within it, particularly when discussing abundant treasures, as many people will undoubtedly give up their lives to find this treasure, One Piece.
Everyone can believe it and get excited about it because Gol D. Roger is not just some random drunk person or an unknown person. On the contrary, this man is extremely well known and is acknowledged as the king of pirates.
The news also reached East Blue, in a place called Dawn Island, and there stood the Goa Kingdom, a kingdom that had quite a name in East Blue. However, similar to other governments, this kingdom also had a king who was corrupt and cruel. He created castes, such as nobles and commoners, to spread his regime, and he even made a dump area home for people who didn't deserve to live in his city.
A village known as Foosha can be found in a remote space at the southernmost tip of the Goa Kingdom. Foosha is characterized by its austere simplicity, peaceful atmosphere, and warm and welcoming locals.
The only place in this village where people can get sake or liquor after a hard day of working in the fields or catching fish in the ocean is Partys Bar, one of the places in this Foosha village that are frequently visited by both locals and tourists.
Although there were not many people in this bar on this particular day, there was a young boy who was seated in front of the bartender's counter, and it appeared that no one there found the presence of this boy in this place to be odd.
"Why are you gloomy again, Luffy?" asked the woman with dark green hair who was currently wiping glasses and tables, and she appeared to be the bartender in this Partys bar.
The boy seated at the bartending counter responded, "This place is boring," while simultaneously crossing his arms and displaying a mildly aggravated expression on his face.
"Of course, you will feel that way, but doesn't Grandpa Garp see you very often?"
"No, grandpa is always busy. Once he meets me, he will definitely force me to do all those scary training," replied Luffy with a scared face, and it seemed as though he was very traumatized because his body couldn't stop shaking when he talked about it.
The woman with dark green hair could only chuckle to herself while covering her mouth as she watched the cute behavior of the boy in front of her, but then she had an idea.
After that, the woman lowered herself under the table, opened the shelf below it, and removed a glass pot from it that contained an orange-colored drink.
The curious Luffy then asked, "what kind of drink is that?" And based on how he couldn't stop swallowing his saliva, it looked as though he was parched and desired to get a taste of it.
The woman with dark green hair didn't respond right away. Instead, she took a glass, poured the drink into the glass, and with a gentle smile she then put it next to Luffy while saying:
"It's a treat from me, and I hope you're not moody anymore."
Immediately, Luffy's face lit up, but he quickly frowned and declined, explaining that his grandpa had told him that he was not yet old enough to drink sake.
When the woman with the dark green hair heard that, she couldn't help but laugh, and Luffy, who felt like he was being made fun of, could only pout and look away in another direction.
After a hearty round of laughter, the woman proceeded to explain, "This is not sake. It's just orange juice."
Instantaneously, Luffy's eyes glowed with excitement once more, and he questioned whether or not it was true "really? so, I can drink it?"
Luffy didn't waste any time after seeing the woman with dark green hair nod her head. He just started lifting the glass with both hands and gulping down his orange juice as quickly as possible.
Luffy wiped his mouth after finishing the orange juice and grinned broadly at the woman as if he wanted to compliment her on how tasty it was. He had not left a single drop behind when he had finished drinking it all.
"This kid didn't even say thank you," the woman with dark green hair muttered with a sigh, but seeing Luffy, who had cheered up, made her happy too, so she didn't mind too much.
When Luffy and the woman started talking to one another about various topics, particularly Luffy, who only spoke about different kinds of food and drink, causing this conversation was filled with smiles and laughter.
But all of a sudden, there was a loud bang followed by the sound of the bar door swings open wide, and a middle-aged man with a tall and stocky build dressed in casual clothes asked, "is Luffy here?"
Luffy, who was seated at the table at the time, immediately trembled in fear, and he exclaimed in shock, "eek... Granpa! why are you here?"
It turns out that the intimidating-looking middle-aged man is actually Luffy's grandpa, Garp, and it seems that he wants to invite Luffy to go somewhere with him.
"of course, what else could there possibly be to do other than to pick you up for training!"
