I woke up in a cold sweat, my heart beating so fast I thought I was going to die. This was the worst situation I had ever been in and I knew that if I even survived this at all, it was going to be a clear miracle. There were many things that just didn't make any sense to me and lying here, on this bed made it all the more worse.
"Wh…"
I tried to say something but I realized that my throat was too parched for me to even string a sentence together. What I had gone through had been a very traumatic experience I had never thought to encounter…the death and betrayal of a fellow member of the guild, a fellow sister hunter…
