Eliana returned to the room, and just as Charles had said, Helios was inside. He stood by the window with his hand behind him.
Eliana stopped walking when she noticed some differences in him. "Helios," she called and approached with cautious steps. He looked the same, but she felt something was different about it, and it was only the long hair that sprung out of nowhere. The air around him was different. Thicker and darker, it was almost overwhelming. Even with his back to her, she could feel it.
He turned slowly, and as he did, the door that she left open closed on its own, and she nearly jumped in fright.
Now that he was face to face with her, she was certain that something had changed. Even his facial features were more refined and beautiful but dangerous.
"Entranced by me, I see," he uttered, and every thought she was having about him was dispelled. He chuckled.
