Eliana managed to get everyone out of the mansion before the hunters, or as they passed themselves out to be called, the police arrived. Although she had said that she would stay, she was nervous. She was more nervous than she would have liked.
She looked at Helios, who sat like a king with his legs crossed and tea beside him, a book in hand. Liana wondered about the content of that book to have him interested in, but she stared silently, casting glances at him more than she wanted to. She wished she could be as calm as he was, even knowing that the people coming were most likely coming to claim his life.
"You have to sit down and relax. Here, have a cup of tea," he offered and patted the spot next to him. It was unlike him to pay attention to anyone other than himself, but he was acting as if it was something he had long been used to doing. "You don't want them to come here and meet so stressed out. They might think I mistreat you."
