Chapter 19 - 19: Flaws

Asher had thought he hadn't made too much of a commotion.

To him a commotion was way more than tearing space and fixing it back, wiping out over a hundred students from existence, escaping with the two school beauties, literally destroying the cafeteria which he fixed back with time magic.

Which was why he was surprised when he was summoned by the principal and he was sitting right in front of the said man.

~Gulp~

"G-good day sir. How may I help you?"

"Asher Von Wight, son of Bariel Von Wight. Hmm... You're quite something."

"Yes..?" Asher noticed that the principal didn't address his father with any honorifics or respect. His tone sounded almost familiar.

The principal took his seat. "Although, death and killing is allowed, don't you think you're taking this too far? You killed 67 nobles and 33 commoners.

Let me go straight to the point, You have time magic and your near infinite mana, you can bring them back with some compensations."

Winfred was looking at Asher's face all the way. He noticed his eye changing colour from the light purple it was to an intense dark purple.

"No. I won't bring them back and you should tell those nobles who sent you that they should train thier children to not look the wrong way." Asher shot back in a single breath.

"You're really like your mother." Winfred rested his back on the chair and let out a sigh.

"You speak like you know her personally." Asher said.

"Yeah of course. We were in the same adventurer party until twenty-seven years ago when she... had her personality split in half. Your father, your mother, I, Gabriel, Roberts, Alicia and Inna." Winfred started to get lost in his thoughts.

Meanwhile Asher was speachless but come to think of it, his mother never spoke about her personal life. It was all wake up, train, get beaten up, eat and go to sleep and the cycle starts again.

His father was usually out and when he came home he just stayed somewhere watching them and he didn't talk much. It was just then that Asher realized how much family time they were missing.

"Enough chit chat. I swear on my name as Wilstom Allmoon that I shall compensate you with a tier 6 weapon." Winfrey placed his hand on his chest to show his sincerity.

"You know, there are some flaws in your school system." Asher ignored Wilston.

Wilston could feel a vein pop on tbe side of his head. Why was this brat so irritating to talk to?

"Although allowing deaths and kills helps everyone get used to the outside world where nobody cares if you die or live, you're giving the students the mentality of always killing even when there's no need for it and you never tried to correct that."

Asher stood up from his seat.

"I already gave you my answer. They shouldn't have looked at my fiànce the wrong way. Take my advice if you want." and he walked out.

"Wooh..." Wilston let out a breath of air. When that kid was in the room, it felt like there was a scythe gently caressing his neck and it could pluck off his head at any moment.

He hadn't noticed this feeling until Asher left.

"Bariel was right." Wilston glanced at the letter sealed with orange wax, a signature that the letter was from the Von Wight family.

———

It was the second day of school and of course, the day classes would start. Asher walked down the hallways with his hands in his pockets as everyone parted ways for him to pass through.

His new nickname was "The Celestial Destroyer" as he had turned the common sense of the school on it's head.

Asher had a single thought in head.

'Why hunt for common sense when I can just make it myself?'

He reached his class — 1-A and as he walked in everyone stopped talking.

There were four hundred students per class with fifty classes and each class was enlarged with space magic to accommodate the students.

It was built in the arena style with a stage for the lecturer at the front. After homeroom, they would have the five remaining optional classes. Each student was obligated to attend at least 3 optional classes.

He took a seat at the front and a few minutes later, Cashel joined him.

"Yo." Asher spoke as he leaned on the table. "Late as usual, I see."

"Tch, who forgot to wake me up." Cashel retorted.

"Sorry, it's no big deal. Homeroom hasn't started–"

"Hey there they are!" Asher was interrupted by a voice and he saw a boy pointing at the door.

"So beautiful~ Those are angels uh? They don't compare to elves though!"

"Hey look! Humans!"

"Dwarves too!"

The different races started to walk into the room one by one and after the last person entered, an elven man wearing some lecturer robes walked in.

"Good day students, My name is Winchester Von Aurae from the prestigious Aurae family. I shall be your homeroom teacher starting from today till the end of the year."

The man had a honey brown coloured hair and dark blue eyes with a thick mustache although his chin was bald. He subtly threw a glance at Asher and that one glance was packed with hostility.

'Asher Von Wight, you shall pay! I shall avenge my younger sister.'

"First, let's introduce ourselves. Let's start with you freckle face." Winchester pointed at a freckle faced merman at the front.

"M-me?" The boy quickly stood up. "Blake! Just Blake. I'm a commoner and I love sweets!"

"Next."

"Strawberry head."

The next girl quickly stood up and positioned herself properly like a soilder.

"I'm Marigold Mayberry! I'm 13 years old! A noble and I love cakes!"

"Next."

"Asher Von Wight. I like to destroy eyes who look at my fiànce the wrong way."

Everyone felt a chill run down their spines as Asher said those words.

How strong was this guy? Was this the abomination that two generals had created?

"Ne… Next."

"Cashel Von Wight. I like bread and mayo and I like to pull pranks on my brother. Look at my fiànce the wrong way and you're in for it."

Everyone knew it, these twins were crazy.
