Shuffle Playlist- I Will Always Be Yours by Tatiana Manaois.
''Vincent, if you choose her, everyone is going to believe the rumors between you and her. People are going to think that you really have something going on with her. It's clear she is just an opportunist and wants to take advantage of you. Also, I have an upper hand than her. I am more popular and has more following than her. If I am a part of this series, it will create a lot of buzz for the series, and the company. She is just a voice actress; how can she face the camera?'' Celia's words were belligerent and she seemed to be attacking Sabrina personally.
''The scandal wasn't her fault.'' Vincent wanted to explain but Celia cut him short once again.
''No! She can't be a part of this project. Vincent, can't you see through this girl's intentions? First, she got into a scandal with you, now she is coming to audition for a role in a movie you're producing. Everything is obvious. She just wants to get close to you at all cost. People like her don't have shame. You should let her stay far away from you.'' Celia spoke with contempt.
Georgia frowned when she heard Celia's words. She felt that Celia was entitled and hostile towards Sabrina for no good reason. This was precisely why she never liked her. Georgia turned and left the office quietly.
''Celia, you are been judgmental. I am a businessman and will always look for the best option.'' Vincent stated.
''Alright, let's not let an insignificant person make us argue. Since I am auditioning for the female lead, I can assure you, no one will be able to surpass me.'' Celia tried to hold Vincent's hand and he stepped back. She felt displeased with his actions but decided not to push forward.
''The audition will start soon. I need to get ready.'' Vincent went back to sit at his desk, creating a significant distance between him and Celia.
Celia picked her purse and left the office looking furious.
At the lobby.
Sabrina sat at the coffee section of the lobby, along with other actresses that were present for the auditioning. There were quite a few familiar faces. Sabrina had already greeted them politely before taking a seat at an empty table. She removed the script in her bag and started studying it.
''Isn't that Sabrina Van? Is she also here to audition?'' A small actress mumbled to another while looking at Sabrina.
''I think so, but she looks pretty in person. Did you see how she greeted us before going to sit? I thought she was arrogant because of the video Bianca posted earlier on but after seeing her in person, I think she doesn't look hefty at all.'' The other small actress added.
Behind Sabrina's seat was the assistant of Celia, Amanda, whom was waiting on her. When she saw Celia walking out, she stood up and waved at her.
Celia walked over and sat down. She ignored everyone present and sat down with a distorted face.
''Celia, what's wrong? You don't look happy.'' The assistant, Amanda asked.
Celia looked around and beckoned on her assistant to move closer. When her assistant did, Celia asked. ''Have you seen Sabrina here? I heard she was around.''
''She is the one behind me, in the pink fur coat dress and short brown skirt.''
Celia looked over and scoffed. ''She is not pretty at all in person. I can't believe a woman like her wants to snatch my man. In any case, the role belongs to me. No one can take the role from me or Vincent. Want to take my man? Wait and see…''
Celia saw Georgia walking over and she sat up straight. Georgia was holding a bottle of throat tonic in her hand. Celia initially thought Georgia was going to give the tonic to her but Georgia walked past her and stopped in front of Sabrina.
''Miss Sabrina… hi.'' Georgia greeted shyly.
''Hi, Miss Georgia…'' Sabrina closed the script and looked at Georgia with a smile.
''Can I sit and talk to you?'' Georgia asked.
''Sure, sit down.'' Sabrina chuckled.
''Here, I brought you this throat tonic. It helps to clear your throat and makes your words come out clearer. I wanted to bring it to you.''
''You brought me this? Thank you, so much Miss Georgia. I'm really grateful.'' Sabrina took the tonic and opened it in front of Georgia. She drunk all of it and smiled. ''This taste good too. Thank you!''
''You're welcome!'' Georgia was hiding a picture of Sabrina in her hand and Sabrina saw it.
''Give it to me!'' Sabrina chuckled and took the picture to sign.
''I am a fan. I am actually the moderator of your fan club.'' Georgia confessed and couldn't stop fanning over Sabrina.
''Really? Why didn't you say so when we met the first time?'' Sabrina asked and chuckled.
''I was with my boss. I can't expose myself.'' Georgia laughed sheepishly.
''It must be hard working for that stone face man, right? I can understand you. It's good to keep a low profile, before that stone faced man fire you for supporting me.'' Sabrina joked.
''How dare you call Vincent stone face?'' Celia walked over and asked. She crossed her arms around her chest proudly. She looked at Sabrina from head to toe and chuckled. She had been eavesdropping on their conversation since Georgia sat across Sabrina and was waiting for a chance to barge in.
''And I was, thinking that the woman who tried to seduce Vincent was a drop-dead beauty. Now that I'm standing close to you, you are just a so-so.'' Celia added. She gave Sabrina a condescending look and shook her head with disapproval.
Sabrina and Georgia were taken aback by her sudden intrusion. Georgia stood up and hid the picture behind her.
''Georgia, does Vincent know you've left your post and is here gossiping about him?'' Celia asked. She had always felt that Georgia didn't like her and she, Celia didn't even like any woman that worked closely with Vincent.
'Miss Celia, I asked for permission from the CEO.'' Georgia replied.
Sabrina heard the name and recognized her immediately. She looked at the girl that was much younger than her quietly.
''Sabrina, right? You came here to audition; shouldn't you be focused on that instead of gossiping about a man you barely know? Right, I almost forgot. You got into a scandal with Vincent a week ago, so you must still be in cloud nine, thinking you've caught a big leg to cling to. No?'' Celia asked.
''Gossiping? Did it look that way?'' Sabrina looked at Celia and was clear about the sort of person she was. ''I was just having a fun chat with a fan. I didn't know that was a sin?'' Sabrina asked back. ''Also, it was a scandal and the misunderstanding has been cleared. Who are you to insult me?''
The other actors and actresses present started whispering and mumbling amongst themselves. Celia thought she could ridicule Sabrina in front of everyone but Sabrina had turned her own words against her.
''Miss Celia, we were just chatting. Miss Sabrina's words weren't in a bad way.'' Georgia spoke.
''If it was just a chat, I wouldn't have barged in but I clearly heard you gossiping about the CEO. She even called him a stone face and you agreed with her. Georgia, as Vincent's secretary, you are supposed to represent him in and outside the company, but look at what you're doing? You are here with a voice actress agreeing to her demeaning words about your boss.'' Celia pointed her fingers as she spoke.
Vincent was coming down from the stairs when he saw Celia standing with Sabrina and Georgia. He was coming down to welcome the director that was going to audition the actors with him.
''What is going on over there?'' Director Eric asked his junior director when they entered the lobby and saw the commotion.
''It seems Miss Celia is having an argument with another actress, that other one is Miss Sabrina.'' The junior director replied.
''Director Eric, welcome!'' Vincent went over to greet the elderly man.
''Thank you.'' Eric shook hands with Vincent. Both of them turned when they heard Celia's voice.
''Apologize!'' Celia yelled. When she saw Vincent at a distance, she smirked and hurried over. 'Vincent is here…''
''Celia, what is going on?'' Vincent asked when Celia got closer.
''Your assistant and that woman over there were gossiping about you. She even dared to call you a stone face. I caught them red-handed saying demeaning things about you.'' Celia replied.
''CEO, that isn't what really happened. I came down to let Miss Sabrina sign an autograph for me and we were just having a light chat…'' Georgia tried to explain.
''About me?'' Vincent asked and looked at Sabrina. His lips curved with interest. As if he was pleased to be the topic of their discussion.
Sabrina looked around her and clasped her hands tightly. She bit her lips and apologized. ''I'm sorry, I didn't say anything bad about you. It seems Miss Celia misunderstood the situation…''
''Did I ask you to apologize to me?'' Vincent's question cut Sabrina's apology short.
