Chapter 10 - It's All Part Of My Plan

As the scene unfolded, Miss Julian's mind raced through a storm of thoughts. "Wait... What grade of open spell circuit is this? Rare? No, the mana flow optimization suggests otherwise. Epic? Hmm, there's something uniquely radiant about it. Military grade? The power output even surpasses that... Legendary? Could it be?" Her thoughts danced in a flurry, each realization a lightning bolt in her consciousness.

Her eyes remained transfixed on the masterpiece of magical circuitry that Richard had fashioned. The sheer complexity of it held her in a trance, and she found herself almost drooling in fascination.

Suddenly, Lia's voice broke the silence the hung over the classroom, infused with a dose of smugness as she stood up, "Ha, I bet what you did was totally garbage, you practically left miss Julian speechless."Lia taunted, her words dripping with arrogance.

A blend of surprise and disbelief swirled within Miss Julian as she turned her gaze to Lia. She couldn't help but wonder, "Which idiot said that?"

Richard's voice, tinged with playful sarcasm, cut through the tension. "Oh, sorry Miss Julian, didn't mean to disappoint you. Guess I'll just dismantle it then," he quipped, a mischievous glint in his eyes.

An impulse surged within miss Julian, the urge to stop Richard from dismantling his creation. "No, please wait," she wanted to say, to encourage him to preserve the magnificent circuit he'd created. But her voice caught in her throat, and before she could act, the magic circuit disassembled, leaving a peculiar feeling of disappointment behind.

In Miss Julian's heart, emotions clashed like thunder and lightning, a fusion of sadness and irritation causing a faint trembling. Her gaze shifted to Lia, her irritation now directed at her. "You fool," she muttered with a touch of frustration, her eyes narrowing. "Do you even have a clue how complicated that open spell circuit was?"

Miss Julian's words continued to pour forth, tinged with frustration and genuine concern. "Some magic scholars would dedicate their entire lives to studying an open spell circuit as complicated as the one you just made him dismantled." Her voice carried both frustration and a touch of regret for what had transpired.

In the midst of her chastisement, Richard seized a fleeting moment. He walked toward the classroom door, swung it open, and addressed Luna and Luella. "We're leaving." Luna and Luella shared a quick glance as Richard announced his departure. Luna nodded at his words and assured him, "We'll catch up, young master." she hurried to join Richard at the door.

Beside her, Luella's cheeks flushed a soft pink as she stammered, "Y-yes, we are coming, young master." Her eyes darted briefly to Richard before lowering, the encounter clearly affecting her composure. She took a deep breath, trying to steady herself as they continued toward the door.

Jarmin, standing nearby, shared an acknowledging glance with Richard before declaring with a serious tone, "If my boss is leaving, then so am I." His loyalty to Richard was absolute, it could be seen in both his words and his posture.

Miss Julian's eyes widened with a mix of urgency and anxiety. She couldn't let him go so easily. "Richard, no, Master Richard, please wait!" Her voice caught in her throat, her desperation could easily be seen. "Are you willing to take me in as your student? I'll do anything to learn from you."

Richard's response was both unexpected and intriguing. He casually tossed a card toward her, the words "Basther LTD" printed on it. Turning it over, she found three phone numbers neatly inscribed on the back. His tone was nonchalant as he instructed, "Just call the company and let them know you want to talk to Young Master Richard."

Richard simply ignored her, his gaze on Emma, his playful demeanor wasn't lost on her. As he winked at her. "we'll catch up later." her cheeks flushed, creating a charming scene of teenage awkwardness. Richard then shut the door behind him, completely ignoring miss Julian. In that moment, the classroom held a charged silence, the weight of Richard's offer and its implications hanging in the air.

Miss Julian's voice quivered with a mix of frustration and seriousness as she addressed Lia. "After this class, you will follow me to my office. I'm going to make sure you understand the importance of magic circuits in every field of study." Lia's face paled, and she immediately fell to her knees, pleading for forgiveness. "Ma'am, I'm so sorry. I shouldn't have..."

Once outside the classroom, Richard, Luna, and Luella began their journey through the school halls toward the exit.

Jarmin's curiosity got the better of him as he couldn't resist asking about Richard's plans. "Boss, so what's the plan now?" Luna and Luella were equally eager to know. "Yes young master, where are we headed? What's on your mind?"

Richard, his signature grin still in place, took the lead and turned back to face them. "For now, we're going to grab some lunch, maybe watch some movies, and just relax." As he revealed his plans, a collective mixture of disbelief and concern crossed the faces of Jarmin, Luna, and Luella.

Their skepticism could be seen as beads of sweat formed on their faces from shock. Almost at the same time, they questioned him. "Are you serious?" Richard's confidence remained unshaken. "Come on, just trust me. It's all part of my plan."
