After successfully exiting the school premises, Richard turned to Luna with a nod. "Luna, go ahead and call for the ride." Luna responded swiftly, retrieving her phone from her pocket and dialing the number. In a matter of moments, a sleek black limousine pulled up by the sidewalk. Two men dressed in impeccably tailored black suits and dark sunglasses emerged from the vehicle, their professional demeanor reflecting their purpose.
With a respectful bow, they greeted Richard at the same time. "Your ride is here, young master." Grateful for their prompt arrival, Richard led the way, followed by Jarmin, Luna, and Luella, as they made themselves comfortable inside the luxurious limousine The door closed neatly behind them, with a gentle hiss, they were encased in an atmosphere of luxury.
While Richard maintained his outward calm, his inner thoughts were spinning with surprise and amusement. "Damm, who'd ever think I'd get a ride in a limousine. Guess I finally understand why Luna was so confused when I took the bus earlier." he mused quietly. He glanced around the luxurious interior, his eyes lighting up with genuine fascination.
The first thing that struck him was the seat. He sank into it, feeling like he was nestled in a cloud. The cushions were so soft that he couldn't help but relax into them, an involuntary sigh escaping his lips. "Wow, this is defiantly an upgrade from the bus. It's like sitting on a marshmallow."
The air conditioning was a pleasant discovery. The cool air brushed against his skin, and he couldn't deny how refreshing it felt. Leaning back, he let the sensation wash over him. "I never thought I'd appreciate air conditioning this much. It's like a cool breeze on a hot day."
The lighting inside the limousine was unlike anything he'd experienced. Subdued yet elegant, the soft glow from the lights gave the space an almost magical ambiance. He found himself simply taking in the play of light and shadows, lost in thought. "I described all of these details back when I was writing the novel, tho I was kinda lazy sometimes like the 'Pulling it out of nowhere' trick. But am glad I did, who knew I'd get to experience this all in person."
His attention shifted to the control panel nearby. He couldn't resist playing around with the buttons, discovering that he could adjust the window tint and the intensity of the lights. It was like a playground for adults, and a small smile tugged at the corners of his mouth. "Who knew a limousine could be this entertaining? OK! Its decided, I'll make sure I always have my rides in one from now on."
Relaxing fully into the seat, he thought about the situation. The ride was incredibly smooth, the interior was a haven of comfort, and every detail seemed tailored to his preferences. In an odd way, it matched the image he was portraying – that of a character who commanded only the best in life. "I might be playing the role of the villain, but this is certainly a perk I could get used to."
The driver's voice cut through Richard's thoughts. "Young master, your destination please." Richard's lips curved into a smile as he replied, "The mansion." The driver's response was swift and respectful. "Sure thing, young master." The limousine glided forward smoothly, its destination set.
A few minutes later, they pulled up in front of the sprawling mansion, its impressive size and the expanse of its gardens struck Richard anew. The fence surrounding the luxurious building glinted like it was made of gold bars. A sigh escaped his lips, even though he had penned these descriptions himself. "Damm, I know I wrote all this," he mused inwardly, "but seeing it in person again today hits different. How haven't we been robbed like a dozen times over? Well, I guess no one would dare mess with the Blackthorn family. Except maybe the Leonhearts, but that doesn't count."
Walking into the grand mansion, Richard was met with a flurry of bows and greetings from the butlers and maids. "Welcome back, young master," their synchronized voices filled the air. He strolled past them, his presence demanding respect.
As he continued deeper into the mansion, he snapped his fingers, directly signaling, his head butler, Randolf, and head maid, Shahera, they appeared by his side, their polished professionalism was a proof of their experience. Richard leaned in and whispered a few words into Shahera's ear. "Take care of it, Shahera. I'll need those arrangements by tonight."
Swiftly, she departed to attend to his instructions. Turning his attention to Randolf, Richard had a new set of tasks. "Randolf, could you arrange some change of clothes for my bodyguards and my friend? We're planning to head out for some fun."
Randolf, with his composed demeanor, couldn't help but inquire, "Young master, if I may ask, wasn't today supposed to be your first day at S.T.A.R?"
A hint of amusement touched Richard's lips. "You're right, today was supposed to be the day. Our first class after the orientation was all about open spell circuits. But I decided to skip it, you know how good I am in the field of magic circuitry."
A twinkle of admiration shone in Randolf's eyes. "Certainly, young master. Your talents are quite evident."
Randolf nodded slowly and then turned to address the assembled staff, giving them precise instructions for preparing outfits for Richard, his friend, and the bodyguards.
In the midst of this, Luna, one of Richard's loyal bodyguards, piped up with curiosity. "Young master, where are we off to, and what did you have Shahera arrange?"
Richard winked at her and eased her concerns. "Nothing too dramatic, Luna. We're hitting the movies first and then maybe some gaming."
Luna's eyes lit up. "Oh, that sounds fun! What kind of games?"
Richard grinned mischievously. "Well, we might just swing by the casino."
Luna's face fell, her voice turning cautious. "Young master, you can't be serious about gambling, right?"
