Crystal stood up, and everyone could feel a different emotion raging from her.
"Let's first settle any doubts among us," Crystal called out.
"Kin. You tricked the group because you didn't have a choice. You knew the danger of this place, and you knew no one would believe you. So you opted to tempt them with the BestowalBestowal. I'm assuming that, at least for that, you didn't lie since there was that voice." Crystal turned to Kin.
Kin nodded.
"Kin?" Erika asked. But Crystal ignored her.
"You had a mission, but you are losing trust. But worst of all, you not only deceived them, you also deceived me!" Crystal's voice quivered with a mix of anger and hurt as she marched at Kin, her face glaring down on him.
Though the beauty stared so close, Kin could not admire or appreciate it. What he felt, beyond anything else, was fear.
