It was a sudden call to attendance, and would rely on these women to accuse all the people and nobles of possible lies!
The accusations of these women were dirt and garbage! Nobles could easily argue and even endanger the lives of this woman.
It was politically wrong in many aspects. And in regards to the safety of these women and their loved ones, it would only cause even more problems! People would get harmed and hurt if these women attacked and smeared the names of the nobles and elites.
Davius knew this. He knew that friend and foe would be dragged into this.

"If you are found to have taken part in this, you will suffer, and I will not save you," Davius spoke to Christopher.
