Year 5620
By the year 5620, the Daemon-Yeridian war, which had lasted for years, came to an end, with the daemons emerging as the victors and subsequently enslaving the Yeridian continent.
Initially, the Yeridian allied army held the advantage due to having more supreme stage beings compared to the daemon army, and it seemed evident that they would win.
However, the tide of the war dramatically changed when the demon sage, Vilran, entered the fray.
Being above the supreme stage and at the sage stage, he was able to easily overpower the supreme stages of the Veridian continent.
Despite the valiant efforts of the Veridian supreme stages to combat Vilran, they soon discovered that their abilities were futile against him. Vilran, being a sage, could manipulate the laws that govern the world to some extent, rendering him nearly invulnerable to any law-based attack.
In the end, all of the supreme stage beings of Veridian surrendered to Vilran, becoming his vassals in an act perceived as cowardice.
As a result, all the nations on Veridian were destroyed, and the weaker natives were reduced to the status of slaves to the daemons, obligated to send tributes periodically.
Although most of the powerful beings of Veridian had surrendered to the daemons and Vilran, some, like Tengis and other beings who could not accept their defeat and the betrayal of the supreme stage beings, continued to fight the daemons in secret.
Many powerful daemons, known as Daemon Lords, were appointed to manage the Yeridian continent and report back to the Daemon continent and Vilran.
Although the religions of Yeridian were not deemed heretic by the Daemon Lords, they specifically targeted the Tree of Life of the elves. To the daemons, worshipping a tree was perceived as both insane and foolish.
Despite their attempts, they were unable to inflict even a scratch on the Tree of Life.
Notably, even the Heavenly Church, at the peak of its power in ancient times when it conquered the entire Yeridian continent, failed to cut it down.
This resistance of the Tree of Life underscored the resilience of Yeridian's spirit, despite the continent now being under the control of the Daemon continent.
Year 6000
By the year 6000, it had been 380 years since the Yeridian continent was defeated and became a slave or colony of the Daemon continent. During these last 380 years, many events unfolded.
An organization called the "Yeridianic Alliance" was formed by powerful beings who had not surrendered to the daemons, including Tengis and many others.
The primary aim of this organization was to overthrow the rule of the daemons from the Yeridian continent and eliminate Vilran.
The strategy of the Yeridianic Alliance was to produce a sage or a saint capable of countering the power of the daemons.
This was because, over the last 380 years, the natives of Yeridian had also become aware of the stages above the supreme stage and how to achieve them, knowledge that had come from the daemons themselves.
During the last 380 years, many other events have also unfolded. The Yeridian continent is currently divided into five parts, each containing only one race: humans, elves, dwarves, beastmen, and barbarians.
This division was implemented by the daemons, who found it challenging to manage the Yeridian continent when different races were scattered throughout it.
Consequently, they segregated the continent into five distinct regions. Furthermore, the dark elves are facing discrimination again by the golden and silver elves.
Year 6020
By the year 6020, the Yeridianic Alliance had started to search for Law Fruits or items containing divinity, aiming to produce a sage or a saint for their side.
Over the past 400 years, a total of two Law Fruits were discovered. However, one of them was seized by Vilran, and another was taken by a devil named Hunia, who also became a sage.
Now, the daemon race has two sages, while the Veridian races have none(Fucking losers).
An important development occurred when the priests of the Heavenly Church somehow obtained a bit of divine energy while worshipping the Supreme Deity.
This event was quite surprising because divine energy was something previously only known in legends, such as those of the daemon god Asmodeus, who possessed divine energy, and the Supreme Deity who descended and gave magic to the races of Yeridian.
However, it was later revealed that the divine energy acquired by the priests of the Heavenly Church was different from the divine energy mentioned in legends. This divine energy allowed them to utilize some abilities of sages and saints, albeit in a weakened form.
many of the priests who had awakened divine energy fled and joined the Yeridianic Alliance, unable to bear the suffering of their religion and people any longer.
Year 6030
By the year 6030, the priests who had awakened divine energy and fled to join the Yeridianic Alliance began researching ways to perform summoning magic.
This type of magic had been theorized for thousands of years, dating back to the construction of the first magic towers.
However, summoning magic remained largely unexplored and unutilized, as no one had been able to grasp even its basics.
The priests' motivation for delving into summoning magic was driven by their desire to find a solution to the dire situation facing the races of Yeridian.
They aimed to use summoning magic to either summon an entity more powerful than Vilran or to find a way to teleport Vilran to another dimension, thereby removing him as a threat.
Year 6050
In an ancient castle, within its deep basement, numerous priests and members of the Yeridianic Alliance gathered. At the center of this dimly lit, stone-walled chamber stood a summoning magic circle.
After years of diligent study, the priests had succeeded in creating a summoning circle and were now preparing to test it.
As they began, the priests released their divine energy into the circle, causing it to illuminate brightly. and something start to materialize in the circle.
