"What is it you wanted to talk to me about?" Ashlyn asked. Her left hand was folded near her chest while her right hand was holding her cup of coffee as she stared at Skylar.
Skylar had arrived four minutes ago and was now sitting down opposite Ashlyn.
"Well, it's about the business project." He said while observing her expression. Though this was not the initial reason for wanting to see her, he couldn't just jump into the river without testing the depth.
He had made his little findings about her and found out she has never been in a close or intimate relationship with any man before so he needed to thread carefully.
"What about it?" Ashley asked with raised brows.
"I would like you to attend my company's next board meeting. We came up with a new project and since our partnership involves you being actively involved, I think it's best for you to partake in the meeting." Skyler said with professionalism.
