"Hey, mum!" Ashlyn said immediately she entered the sitting room and saw her mother.
Mrs. Pedro was seated comfortably on her brown couch facing directly at the television. She turned her head towards Ashlyn immediately after she heard her voice and a bright smile appeared on her face.
"My little angel, how are you."
Seating down beside her mum, "Mum, I'm not a little angel anymore."
"Really?" Mrs Pedro had an amused expression.
Nodding her head, "Yes, I'm a big angel. So, your big angel is fine." Ashlyn said jokingly with a wide grin and Mrs Pedro laughed excitedly.
"You know, If you're now a big angel, don't you think it's the perfect time to get married so I can have other little angels."
Hearing her mother's words, Ashlyn fell speechless for a moment. She saw the mischievous grin on her mother's face and couldn't help but sigh. Who would have thought that her mother would bring up this topic at a time like this?
