Chapter 2 - Operation Assault!

As the trio traveled through the unfamiliar landscape, they spotted a village in the distance. Shiiyo's keen observation skills quickly detected the settlement, and he suggested, "Looks like a village in the distance. Let's try to ask some of the local folks."

However, as they approached the village, a plume of thick, ominous smoke rose into the sky, signaling trouble ahead. Creed, in his military manner, turned to Shiiyo with a serious tone. "Shiiyo, what's the sitrep?"

Shiiyo swiftly gathered information, his tactical mindset in full swing. "Captain, we've got a village under attack by what appears to be a hostile force of armed bandits. I estimate at least twenty hostiles involved, over."

Without hesitation, the trio rushed towards the village's entrance, their training and instincts taking over. As they approached, Kyru, the sharp-eyed sniper, spotted two young female siblings outside the gate, desperately trying to escape from the pursuing bandits.

Kyru relayed the situation with a sense of urgency. "Captain, be advised, I've visual contact with two civilian females, approximately ages 16 and 20, attempting to evade pursuit by armed hostiles, possibly bandits. Approximately twenty meters, over."

As the situation grew more dire, one of the sisters tripped and fell, the older one instinctively trying to shield her sibling from the bandit's blade. The moment of terror was abruptly halted as a massive shadow appeared, guarding the two sisters and blocking the bandit's incoming attack. It was Creed, standing in front of them with a giant shield and sword.

In a deep and intimidating voice, Creed declared, "Not today, punk." Without hesitation, he swung his powerful sword, cleaving the bandit in two. Shiiyo immediately reported, "Enemy neutralized."

The sisters, now safe but still shaken, couldn't contain their gratitude. The older one, her voice trembling with relief, spoke up. "Thank you so much! You saved us! Please, we need your help to protect our village from these bandits!"

Her younger sister, clinging to her sister, added her plea. "Please, we can't face them alone. You're our only hope!"

With bandits still lurking on the horizon, the Trio faced a critical decision. They had to choose whether to aid the village and defend it against the incoming threat or continue their journey. The weight of their decision hung heavy in the air as they contemplated their next move.

As the Trio managed to enter the village, Shiiyo, the strategic thinker, swiftly approached the two sisters and suggested they find a safe place to hide while they handled the approaching bandits. He spoke in military terms, his voice laced with humor, attempting to lighten the tense situation. "Alright, ladies, we've got this. Seek a secure location, and we'll take care of the bad guys. Over and out."

Shiiyo, wearing his tactical knight gear and peering through his advanced glasses that displayed real-time battlefield data, took on a stoic expression as he relayed information to his companions. "I've got eyes on the hostiles. Approximately twenty bandits, heavily armed, bearing down on our position. I suggest we form a defensive line near the village entrance, maintain cover, and engage hostiles on sight. Over."

As they acknowledged Shiiyo's intel, Kyru, the one known for his humor and spontaneity, found himself contemplating his tactical backpack. To his surprise, each of their tactical backpacks was filled with magic. Without a clear idea of what to expect, he decided to take a gamble and reached into the backpack. What he pulled out was a CheyTac M200, an American bolt-action sniper rifle.

As the massive weapon appeared in his hands, Kyru couldn't help but exclaim in astonishment, "Oh... Shit."

Shiiyo, his tactical mindset momentarily thrown into disarray, asked in genuine bewilderment, "Kyru, where the hell did that come from?"

Kyru, still holding the intimidating sniper rifle, shrugged nonchalantly and replied, "I don't know. I just thought of a powerful weapon that can shoot far, and voila!"

Creed, always the level-headed leader, couldn't help but admire the newly acquired firepower. With a thumbs-up, he chimed in, "Co-cool! We can use that."

With their new weapon in hand and a determined expression on Creed's face, he couldn't resist channeling his inner Prime, delivering the iconic line. "Squad, we're going to prove who we are and why we're here. Now, ROLL OUT!"

As the Trio navigated through the village, blending their unique abilities and gear with the medieval surroundings, one of the bandits spotted them. He quickly signaled to his comrades, raising the alarm.

Creed, always alert and strategic, called out to Kyru with military precision. "Tango on the rooftop. Engaging hostiles."

Without hesitation, Kyru shouldered his newly summoned sniper rifle and aimed. With deadly accuracy, he fired, and the bandit on the rooftop fell, his head obliterated in a gory display.

However, it was too late; the enemy had already been alerted to their presence.

The bandit leader, a menacing figure, emerged from the midst of his cohorts. He stepped forward, a sinister grin on his face, ready to introduce himself and taunt the trio. His voice dripped with malice as he addressed them.

"Well, well, well," he sneered, his eyes glinting with cruel intent. "What do we have here? A trio of self-proclaimed 'knights' from the heavens? You think you can waltz into our territory and stop us?"

As the bandit leader delivered his evil monologue, Creed's gaze wandered over the devastation surrounding them – blood-stained streets, crying villagers, and properties in ruins. It was a stark reminder of the battlefield he had known before coming to this world. His clenched fist betrayed the anger simmering within him, and Shiiyo couldn't help but notice his leader's seething determination.

As the bandit leader continued his menacing monologue, he introduced their group with an air of arrogance. "You're in the territory of the Iron Vipers, and I am their fearsome leader, known as Bloodfang."

Meanwhile, behind his tactical robe, Shiiyo felt something unusual – a stun grenade hidden in one of his pockets. With his strategic mind in motion, he decided to radio the others in silence.

"Kyru, listen up," he began quietly. "Here's the plan. As the Captain moves in to engage the enemy leader, I'll initiate a flashbang to blind the hostiles. Then, your position on the rooftop grants you a high-ground advantage. You'll engage from there, using precision fire to neutralize the distracted enemies. Let's synchronize this perfectly."

Kyru, ever the sniper, acknowledged the plan with a swift affirmative and began scanning the area for an optimal vantage point. Creed, undeterred by the bandit leader's words and ready to charge, gripped his sword tightly and prepared to spring into action.

Amidst the tension and anticipation, Shiiyo's tactical skills provided him with an unexpected discovery. He felt the familiar shape of an H&K MP7 SMG on his right thigh, hidden beneath his robe. A confident smirk crept onto his face, knowing that the situation was about to escalate, and the Trio was about to unleash their newfound powers and skills against the Iron Vipers and their menacing leader, Bloodfang.
